Hotel with rooftop pool on Embassy Row near Dupont Circle
The Embassy Row is a half-block from Dupont Circle in the midst of Embassy Row. Georgetown, the White House, and downtown D.C. are nearby. The Dupont Circle Metro is a half-block away. Guests won't lack entertainment with the neighborhood's restaurants, shops, and attractions, including the Phillips Collection, less than a block away. The seasonal rooftop pool is a great place to lounge during the summer.

Embassy Row Hotel
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room, although on the smallish side, was comfortable and clean. The hotel is located with a block of Dupont circle making it very easy to make my business appointment in record time.

Great Location
This was a great deal on a hotel! Far less expensive than any other hotels I came across while booking our "tourist trip" to DC! It is less than a 5 minute walk to the Metro, CVS, and tons of great restaurants. Also our cab rides to and from Regan Airport were less than $20. The neighborhood was great, very friendly, and I felt safe the entire time. The hotel did lack having a bar or restaurant which I overlooked when booking, however they were happy to bring delivery menus to our room. Our King sized bed was very comfortable, but the shower and bathroom were very small, and the walls were a little thin. I could hear a few toilets flush but no outside noise that I noticed. Ladies, remember to bring your own blow dryer, they are not provided in the room.

Old HIlton that is in desparate need of a face lift
All said, it was a room and bathroom. Just basic needs and a decent price. The carpet felt nasty under my feet, so keep your socks on and the toilet knob would stick. The shower curtain was bent, etc.. The finishes are old. The Hotel could be great, but desparately needs updating.

Great location
We enjoyed that the Embassy Row Hotel is in a good neighborhood and half a block from the metro station, so it was easy to get around without a car. Plus there were plenty of restaurants, etc. within walking distance. The roof top pool was nice as well. There were a couple of nice surprises not mentioned on their website such as a complimentary continental breakfast and free WiFi. However, the internet access was sometimes slow. It was convenient to use the business center to print out our boarding passes. A downside is that they need to renovate, for instance the paint was chipping on the closet doors. However, if I were to go to DC again, I would probably go back, because I liked that it was a good neighborhood, close to the metro and within walking distance to shops, etc.

Great Location and Very Relaxing!
Friendly and helpful staff members. Comfortable rooms. Terrific location, close to site seeing and the Metro. Nice touch...a pool with a birds-eye view!

Nice to travel on the elevator to get breakfast. Although no hot foods are available there are many choices in food.I even saw a guest making sandwiches to take along on her day's outings.

Great location, and the rooftop pool is very handy when you get tired of sightseeing. However, the hotel avertizing needs to be updated - they advertize a restaurant on site that has been closed for over a year

meeting with friends
great location near transportation and food. Rooftop pool was reserved for a private party and the $35/day to park was in keeping with the silliness of the city. Clean with great service people.
