Good Value
The room was dated but clean. Our only complaint was that the frontdesk's attempt to upgrade us to a larger room was a room dominated by a huge conference table with a king-sized pulldown bed, two tacky looking loungers, and a small closet. We did end up with a really large bathroom. WARNING: This Jury's is currently undergoing much needed renovation, so the construction activity can be annoying.

Convenient to Metro/Business location
Very conveniently located across from the Metro entrance in Dupont Circle. Great location for business traveler-- very good restaurants, shops within a block of hotel. Easy metro rides to NIH, White House and Regan Airport. Dupont Circle makes a female traveler feel comfortable at night. It has many nearby options for stores and restaurants and lots of people around. Dupont Circle is a much better option than some of the great hotels around the White House, where streets and businesses empty after 6:00 pm and area becomes a little eerie. More to do at night and you feel much safer!

nice, but....
I like the hotel (note: I did not use the dining options, so the answer to that was n/a). HOWEVER, they did not give me my 5:45 a.m. wakeup call!! Fortunately, I woke on my own, or I would have missed my flight!

Average Stay
The Jurys Washington Hotel in Dupont Circle was an average hotel stay. I would recommend friends and family to stay there. The Jurys Washington Hotel wasn't perfect, but it was a good place to sleep. The positives were: a. location: We walked to the White House area everyday (we could have taken the Metro, but walking is really not that far). b. close to JRs, Apex, and Omega. c. quiet: there were no loud people running up and down the halls d. Maid service was good. The negatives were: a. water pressure in the shower was not great. Plan to take long showers. b. Our room view looked down onto old rooftops that needed work.

The White House, the National Mall and Memorial Parks, and the Capitol are all maybe a short 2 mile walk. The National Zoo is maybe 2 miles the other way. However, if you don't want to walk, the Metro is a block away and that can get you to where you want.

great location-close to metro
The location was great for sight-seeing. The biggest problem with this hotel wasthe noise level both inside and out. There was a 24 hour establishment across the street and the hotel walls seemed thinner than other hotels. The fee to park was typical of other area hotels.

Great Location
This hotel is located on Dupont Circle which is a great location.. lots of places to eat and close to the metro.. The rooms were a bit small.. you only have one night stand next to the bed so if there are two of you.. somebody is out of luck for a place to put a book, glasses or beverage while reading. The room was comfortable and very very clean.. When we asked about a gift shop (my husband had forgotten shaving cream) we were told there was not one.. but also asked what we were needing.. When I explain.. a drawer behind the reception desk was pulled open and we were given a small can of shaving cream. We would stay there again..

My review of Jurys Washington Hotel
The room looked elegant and roomy, and the beds were very comfortable. However, the air condition didn't seem to be adjustable. It was always cold for all three nights we were there even I turned it up to over 80 degree. The location was excellent -- only a block away from the Dupont Circle metro rail station.

good location
My granddaughter and I felt safe out at night in this area. There were nice restaurants and shops close by and the Metro was only a short walk from the hotel making it very convenient to do any tourist attractions that interested us. The hotel staff was efficient and friendly; my only complaint was that the carpeting looked like it was in need of replacing or at least all the carpeting needed cleaning. (My granddaughter witnessed the house cleaning staff rinsing the used coffee cups and glasses in the sink -- no soap -- and just drying with a cloth that she was unaware of the cleanliness; this was a little upsetting, but we made sure to wash any cups or glasses ourselves before using after that.) As i am not sure this would do the job. Not being a frequent traveler to the DC area, I am not sure of the cost of other hotels and found this to be a little pricey; however, we enjoyed our stay and would probably come back.

Excellent Modern-European Style Hotel
