Hotel ok, not great
Comfortable enough, but had an old and cold feel to it - not really a warm, relaxing environment. Staff were nice and courteous, but we had to continuously ask for towels, toilet paper, and other amenities that should have been left automatically when the room was cleaned

Quiet & pleasant spot
Our #1 goal was to see the MLK monument, so this location was perfect. It's a short cab ride from Reagan airport ($20). The neighborhood is full of college students and business people. Eating establishments are not close -- that was one drawback for us --although the hotel restaurant was OK, The room was lovely, with a separate kitchenette and dressing room. 4 blocks to Metro stop. A quiet and pleasant hotel that we definitely recommend.

Nice stay for the dollar.
A/C was very loud which made it hard to get a good night sleep. The beds were great, but the pillows were so fluffy you slept cock-eyed. Would have been nice to have an adjustable shower head. Kitchen was nice to have and the staff kept the room clean.

Google navigation was most helpful in finding a stop to buy food and for restaurants. The hotel really should have had a list of local places to eat.

The British are coming
First visit to DC
Easy to locate straight off interstate even for a foreigner like me!. Very friendly staff and exceptionally clean room. Beware if you are arriving by car, as onsite parking is limited so might be worth phoning ahead to reserve. Very close to main sights and easy to get around. Right on fringe of George Washington University campus. It was just the job for us.

Really Good, But !!Minor issue
N0 pool, N0 spa, no big deal, but would be nice, really no problem. BIG issue, $ 28.00 a day to park your car in hotel lot, then must tip valet person who brings the car @ time. Try to keep car in lot as much as possible. Other then that a good hotel, clean, and great location, close to the National Mall and the Monuments. Had a great time, would return

great place for DC sightseeing
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room had a small kitchen so we could fix our own breakfast and snacks. Good location, within walking distance of the Mall and the White House, close to George Washington campus with lots of good restaurants and shops.
