Renasiisance Washington D.C Hotel

From the moment I arrives at the Renaissance Hotel in D.C. the customer service was great. Staff very nice, my room was clean and modern. Love my bed very comfortable and cozy. The lobby is ultra hip and classy. Cool music was an added plus.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR HASSLE!

The hotel has a nice location, however, the restaurant is very over priced. There should be a 24 hour store that sells little conveniences. I was told three times that I could get a room with refrigerator, however, when I arrived all of the rooms with refrigerator's were occupied. Then, after complaining to the front desk manager a refrigerator room "appeared." I was also told that I could order a fridge for my room, but was told none were available. The Room was very small for the price. The bed was not comfortable and there were not enough outlets. The bathroom was like a closet, no space. The room's closet was ridiculous. The bar for clothes did not go from left to right, but from front to back. I was staying with someone so all of our clothes were crushed together. This was one of the stupidest things that I have seen in a room. I have stayed at all type of hotels, but this closet space was ridiculous. I would never stay at this hotel again. I will stay at the Embassy Suites next time and get the manager's reception and the free breakfast. A lot better value.

Thank You!

We had an awesome time. Our room was immaculate and the room service was nice and professsional. The view was right on target. The lobby has been remodeled and has an inviting atmosphere. We enjoyed the bar area with friends; lunch was also available in the restaurant; and StarBucks hit the spot each morning. Thank you for putting your best foot forward.

Rennaissance Hotel (Marriott) Wash., DC

From start to finish there are a LOT of people to help you. Help you find food, help you carry display items, help you with upgrades (I didn't even have to ask). The building is immaculately clean (again, a lot of people can always be seen cleaning which is very good). The Gym, facility is GREAT! It's probably better than yours at home. One down side, no pool. There is a hot tub, but elderly guest would find it almost impossible to use. It's ideally located. If you have teens, the DC China town is 2 blocks away, as is a DC METRO stop, and the National Portrait Gallery.

Great neighborhood nice. clean room

Great location -- right around the corner from the Penn Quarter District, and a couple blocks from Chinatown. I would gladly return to this hotel. (Also was a fine deal at $150 / night on Orbitz)

Matchbox - terrific wood-fire baked pizza. Eating on their outside patio on a balmy late-October evening, sharing a tasty and filling $19 large pie, and a bottle of nice Zinfandel, with a friend as the full moon rises over the historic building across the street -- priceless.

Incredible service comfy beds

This hotel's service is excellent! When I complimented a restaurant server on his service, he said, "I love to serve!" And it was obvious. EVERY staff member I encountered went out of their way to be of service. The beds were comfy, the room quiet and well-appointed. I'd definitely stay there again! There was construction going on in the lobby, but it was of no consequence whatsoever.
