A great value
Very happy with the hotel, esp. the staff who were great. Some minor but basic issues...handbasin taps had some build-up which hadn't been cleaned and the house maintenance didn't empty the trash bin. Conveniently close to Metro Rail (Yellow line) and some great restaurants. Cherry blossoms were beautiful around the tidal basin. Enjoyed visits to the Library of Congress, Supreme Court and the Mt. Vernon. All the monuments and the memorial were extremely impressive.

Great for the family-Unbeatable location
We toured the DC area. and enjoyed it very much.. The missing thing was the grayline bus that I paid a considerable amt. for and got to ride once. We waited at areas that were designated routes and never got to ride. The only ride we got was from hotel to Ford theatre whch is about 4 blocks. I really think my $88 should be refunded. I will surely never tell anyone to take this hop on hop off.

Awesome
We were in awe when we pulled up to the hotel, the valet was there to greet us. Very friendly all the way around. We walked everywhere we wanted to go with no problems. Great service!! Will be sure to make that our place to stay in Washington D.C.

Renaissance in China Town
The Renaissance is a very conscious chain of hotels. The staff were quite nice and well informed of the current events in DC. The hotel is conveniently located in China Town and is within easy access of transportation. I would highly recommend staying here.

Luxury hotel/great price
Great location--just 3 blocks to the metro; beautiful facility, especially the lobby; Starbucks on the premises; The only negative--thin walls let in too many sounds, like door slamming and conversations in the hall.

Location and everything
We went to see DC on the Fourth of July and this was a really great location for the price. Easy access to the Smithsonion and fireworks. Nice lobby and great staff. Be sure to allow for extra money to park ($28-$38) And internet should be free at all hotels by now. Even the cheap hotels aren't cheap enough to charge for internet.

Plan your stay so that you combine trips to all the sights on the mall so that you don't have to take the walk, (slightly uphill) back to the hotel too many times in a day.
