Great end-of-year vacation
The Palomar Hotel is a blend of affordable luxury, warm hospitality and superb location near Dupunt Circle. The room was great, the service was impeccable - I couldn't have asked for a better hotel for my end-of-year Vacation. Stayed two weeks at the end of December 2012.

Wonderful stay
Very clean, convenient. We visited the National Shrine for Christmas Mass and the Smithsonian. Truly enjoyed the 5 to 6 pm wine and hot toddies :) It was a very convenient location, many restaurants. The greatest part to our trip was the staff!!!! Absolutely wonderful people. Thanks for making a great trip even better. Happy New Year

The Perefet Place to Stay
I usually stay in the Marriott family of hotels -- well, no longer. If this Kimpton is typical of others in the chain, this is my new home away from home. Very stylish, modern, club-like feeling, similar to a W. This particular hotel has a great location surrounded by places to eat and drink, close to the Metro, but still walking distance to the Georgetown and Dupont neighborhoods.

Love hotel palomars. No matter where i go?
Wonderful experience overall. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfy bed and pillows after an eight hour drive. The urbana resteraunt attached was impressive with a great menu for any palate

The hotel was quite comfortable. The location was between Dupont Circle and Georgetown. It's very close to public transit and Rock Creek Park.

Excellent location, superior service.
I've rated this 5-star overall because although I've never stayed at a 5-star establishment I truly have no complaints from my Palomar experience. Large, swanky rooms, genuine smiles from the staff and a top restaurant/bar attached. A great stay generally but for the price unbeatable!

Another outstanding Kimpton experience
We have stayed at Hotel George and Helix Hotel. We were more than satisfied with our visit, like always. The concierge suggested the new Hotel Davenport, and this is where we will book our next stay.
