Really Nice, Convenient, but Noisy!
This Hotel presents an excellent value for the money. The staff could not be nicer or more helpful. They gave us tips on where to eat and where super-helpful with any question. The hotel is just a short distance to many of the sites we wanted to visit. Unfortunately the hotel has George Washington University Hospital, A Fire Station and a Police Station as neighbors and the siren activity between the three of them was frequent and loud.

Large and comfortable room
The suite was very comfortable and large with a nice sitting area, fridge, microwave and coffee bean grinder and coffee maker. The room was spacious and clean and in a good location. The only thing about the location is that it is near a hospital and the sirens can get a little loud. The floor was supposed to be non-smoking but the people in one of the rooms next to us were smoking and it came into our room. There was a guest laundry area with one washer and one dryer and the washer temp was backwards and it cost $2.00 to dry a load and the load was still wet at the end of the cycle. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

There is a restaurant in the hotel that we didn't try but heard was good. However, we found a good chinese restaurant, Meiwah, a couple of blocks behind the hotel that was very good and had outdoor seating with reasonable prices.

Good Hotel
When I came there, the hotel was under construction so it was so noisy. But the room and furniture is very nice. The hotel is close to almost everything. The staff was not very helpful.

My review of One Washington Circle Hotel
The hotel is undergoing a remodeling project this summer, as a result the pool has been closed and the outside of the building is shrouded in scaffolding. The scaffolding hides the exterior and makes the hotel hard to find if you are the one driving and unfamiliar with the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the area as a whole was quiet. Restaurants, coffee shops, subway and tourist sights are well within wlking distace.

Luxury experience for a budget price
Great price for a hotel with a touch of luxury. Not sure if it was a great deal because of the economy or always this price. Only complaint I have the person answering phones has a very thick accent. When I called several times on different days about my reservation it was difficult to understand.

Huge suite!
The hospital is nearby, so we had LOUD sirens all night. If you can get past that, though, the hotel is GREAT! It's a 20-minute brisk walk to the Lincoln Memorial down 23rd street from the hotel. It's a 5-minute walk to the metro, and a 10-minute walk to Georgetown. Great location! Beautiful, huge, suites! We were able to put our baby in a separate room (kitchen), so he slept well there. OH! And beware! Parking is valet, and it is $30 per day! We complained, though, and they didn't charge us.
