One Washinton Circle Hotel
Great Location, close to the metro station, easy access to all Washington DC has to offer. The room was very nice. The staff was very friendly. It is close to the George Washington University Hospitial so there were a lot of sirens at all hours. Wasn't too distracting.

Beautiful, friendly hotel-great location
Beautifully decorated hotel in a wonderful part of downtown D.C., just on the northern edge of the Georgetown campus. A little over a half-mile walk to the nearest subway stop, and just under a mile to reach The Mall area with all the museums, White House, and monuments. Our only disappointment is that, although very friendly, the staff weren't overall knowledgeable about the area and activities it has to offer. They couldn't give us a lot of assistance in the way of advising us on different tour options, making reservations for events/tours, or giving directions to places. For the price and high rating of the hotel, we had expected a more complete "concierge" service. Overall, great experience and would stay there again!

Location was perfect for walking to historic Georgetown and the museums. Also easy walk to Logan Circle. We had a suite with 2 bathrooms which was wonderful and a full kitchen. Not what I would consider a luxury suite but certainly adequate Rooms were clean and comfy. Trader Joe's was a few blocks from the hotel. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

A fine choice
I spent two nights at the hotel while in DC for a business meeting. Other than sleeping, I wasn't in the hotel very much. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Because the room was on street level, it was a little noisy, but not enough to disturb sleep. Fitness room is small - a treadmill, bicycle, elliptical and combined weight stack machine. Adequate, but nothing special. It was a 10 minute walk from my meeting. A good choice for the money and my trip. And as it turned out, the room was available, and I could check in, when I arrived at 8:00 a.m.

Nice central Location
We were looking for a very reasonable price for our 3-day stay in Washington. This hotel was the best value offered. Staff was extremely friendly and when we complained about our mattress after the first night, they did change it -- mattress still wasn't perfect -- but it was better. Hotel is within walking distance of the Georgetown area and a very close walk to the Foggy Bottom subway station, which we enjoyed. Because the hotel is so close to the George Washington University hospital, however, there were sirens almost every night. On a positive note, however, the room was spacious and the staff was very nice.

Short walk from hotel
Because you are so close to the Georgetown area, it made an evening walk to a nice dinner location very easy. Also, the subway location was great. You weren't in the "heart" of Washington, so that was nice as well.

Great but noisy
Very nice hotel with great staff. Rooms are very clean and spacious. One block from METRORAIL stop. Two problems, Our sink started leaking water on the kitchen floor. We were moved to a "PENTHOUSE SUITE" separate bedroom with King size bed, 2 TV's, large dining table in separate dining area, sofa, two chairs in front of 42"(?) LCD TV "BIG ROOM" all at no extra charge! Only problem is it is noisy. Hospital across the street. Police station and Fire station one block away made it noisy. Other then that great hotel across the street from the RITZ CARLTON not bad!

One Washington Circle Hotel
Spent a week in D.C. with my 11 year old grandson. It was a wonderful trip! Although the hotel was some distance from many of the venues we went to see, we were able to take advantage of the D.C. Circulator. They stop approx. (1) block from the hotel. Run every 7-10 minutes, 1.00 cash. Circulator was very crowded at the end of the day when people were coming home from work.[...] When we got to the hotel they put us in a suite which included: kitchen, living room, huge walk in closet, queen size bed off the living room. It was great!Trader Joe's (2) blocks away was very convenient. Bread & Chocolate was recommended to us. It was so good we went there twice. Just a couple of short blocks from the hotel. Everything is fresh. No fried greasy food. Beautiful, delicious bakery items to take back to your room for breakfast. I had their cooked cereal which has a variety of fresh fruits/nuts mixed in. Delicious refreshing breakfast treat!

Spirit Lunch Cruise, was one of the highlights for us. I booked it ahead of time. We were able to take the Circulator and transfer onto another Circulator that stopped right outside of the Spirit Cruises site on Pier 4. The crew was wonderful! They serve you and put on an entertaining show which includes audience participation. The buffet was delicious!

Friendly service, nice room
This hotel was very nice. The staff was friendly and let me check in early. The room was very nice and spacious and had a lovely balcony looking out over the park. My only complaint was a strange problem with my phone. I had no reception in the hotel at all and had to go outside to use my cell. (I have AT&T)

This was close to the GWU Metro stop which can get you to most of the attractions in the area. It was quite convenient.
