Nice hotel, some management issues
A very nice hotel and the rooms were perfect, the check in process was great and the front desk staff were very very good, my problems came with the food and beverage manager, not a nice man and they would not even try to accomodate us. The location of the hotel is great, the irish bar over the road is very good for food and a good pint, also rajaji indian over the road id very good for an evening meal.

Short walk from hotel
The indian and irish bar are better and cheaper than the hotel for dinner, also the diner on the corner is a lot better and a third of the price of the hotel for breakfast.

Very pleasant experience!
We loved the atmosphere, decoration, food, and friendly staff. We encountered a minor issue with our room and were immediately upgraded to a different room and given a breakfast voucher. The hotel location is also a plus since it is so close to the Metro

High quality property
We were upgraded to a balcony room (Nice!) but there was a cigar butt on the balcony; also there was food in the fridge from the previous person. We opened the window but needed to call maintenance to close it - the maintenance man said the window springs tend to rust shut. It was not a trick to close it, just brute force. Otherwise, the room was great. Bathrobes were a nice touch and the safe looked larger than most.

Spring Break at Omni
My son and I took our first trip to DC for spring break. There was a big conference being held there when we arrived. Despite the enormous crowd that was in the lobby when we arrived, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were not inconvenienced by the large group. Our room was well appointed and comfortable. It was a little chilly so we didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool. The garden area was BEAUTIFUL. The flowers were in full bloom. The restaurants in the area were hit and miss. Close to metro stop. Overall an excellent vacation.

Wonderful place to stay & go back to
We stay there whenever we go to DC, which is about every 7 years. It's as warm and wonderful as it was 20 years ago. My husband is now disabled and everyone was warm & caring toward us both. Very handicapped accessible.
