Exceptional style. Delicious food and very comfy

Location is absolutely perfect. In DC it is great to walk and use the metro, so location can sometimes be less of a priority. We visited on this occasion in the end of March and it poured, very thankful that we were right in the mix. The portrait museum is directly across the street. Poste, the on site restaurant was delicious. Great and breakfast and a Bloody Mary bar, reasonably priced room service and a great experience overall.

Good location but significantly overpriced

Decent Washington DC location however, Significantly over priced for what it was. Charging €500 per night even for a Capital City is a bit much.

Great Place for Business

Hotel stay was great the restaurant, Poste, is incredible. The free Hotel Happy Hour is a plus and the staff was great. No place to change after checking out though, the bathroom was very busy and cramped. Great location and puts you right in the DC mix.

Location, location, location

You simply can't beat the location. The hotel is right where you want to be for great strolls through the city. The building is amazing. It's like staying in an old government building. The interior has so much charm. The staff is very friendly and accommodating without being intrusive to your privacy. Poste is not to be missed! I loved this place and will be back!

Poste! Very cool place. The food is amazing and very fresh as it comes from the garden on the patio. Don't miss drinks at the patio bar at night. It's like a cool patio party. Great atmosphere!

NO regrets!!!

This was our first time booking through this website to a place we were not familiar with, so we were a little hesitant. However, this was the best thing we could have done. If you are reading this, you were probably like us a few months ago. You may be wondering if we are real people. lol. Well, we sure are. This hotel is in the BEST LOCATION!!! You will not regeret making the decision. The hotel itself is a landmark, therefore, it was an honor staying there and the colors of the decor online look weird, but it is so beautiful in person. We will definitely stay here again. Btw DC transportation are the best! In addition, Overall, our experience was the best.

True DC look and feel

Took my family to see the sights and sounds of DC. The old architecture and feel of the Monaco set the stage perfectly. Made us feel as if we were in a wing of the White House. Location would be hard to beat. Only critique thought it be a little cleaner but nothing really negative. The two room suite was ideal for the family. Would definitely visit again. Love DC and the Monaco.
