Labor Day/DC/VK

We had a wonderful time due to the ease and comfort provided by The Willard and Staff. The Executive Suite was perfect for our family. The additional space and privacy added enourmously to our trip with teens. Enough room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. We will fondly remember the short vacation!

Elegant hotel at a fantasic location

The staff was outstanding, courteous and friendly. Fantastic location to see all the sights, also very close to a Metro Station. Easy walking distance to pick up the early morning tickets to the Washington Monument and the Printing and Engraving tours. The rooms were clean and bedding was very comfortable.

There's a nice bakery next to the hotel on 14th street for a good inexpensive breakfast. Dinning at the hotel is expensive.

Nothing to Hide!

Amazing hotel. Absolutely breathtaking. Perfect location to EVERYTHING in D.C.. If you stay here, don't waste your money on the "tourist double decker buses" we walked EVERYWHERE! Be prepared...good shoes. The room (delux King) was large and comfy. Don't touch the fridge unless you want to pay for the item. Read the prices first. Maid service was ok. They made the bed but that was about it. Our room didn't have an iron so we had to call to get one. The consierge was very helpful and booked us reservations on the dinner river cruise for no charge. He also directed us to restaurants close to the area and site seeing stops.

Stay here if you plan on going to white house....literally one block to the right and you are there. Treasury, Ford's Theatre, National Archives and so many more attractions just a few blocks away. We even walked to the Capitol from our hotel...but that was a Long walk. Wear good shoes and carry the sun block! (There is a Mariott across the street, which I would check out if I were to go to D.C . angain and bring my children.)

Fantastic stay

We were close to everything we wanted to see. The staff was very helpful when we had questions about transportation or where to eat, this extended to the very nice cleaning staff. It was a beautiful and historic place to stay, we were sorry we had to go home. I recommend it highly.
