Capitol Hill hotel with futuristic lobby atrium, amenities for business
The Hyatt Regency Washington's atrium impresses with its high, cascading ceilings and dark wood. The lobby gives an almost futuristic atmosphere to the hotel. Guests can use express check-in computer terminals to skip the reservation line. Unwind with friends or colleagues at Article One Lounge with its community tables and 13 flat-screen televisions. Guests escape from D.C. politics at the heated indoor lap pool covered by skylights and surrounded by greenery.

DC National
Nice getaway
The room was a very nice getaway for a couple. Very nice accomodations and spacious. Unfortunately, there was not a refrigerator available, but overall, it was a good quaility room.

Great Location
The hotel was great and near everything. Parking at the hotel was $41 a day. I couldn't find anywhere this was listed so I thought that I would let people know. Would stay here again.

Stayed Nov 27 & 28, 2009
The hotel location was excellent and it was a good value for the cost per night. The beds were very comfortable and clean and the room spacious. The lack of a fan in the bathroom was somewhat inconvienient and puzzling, but the staff was friendly, helpful and professional and the location just down the street from the Capitol Building can't be beat.

Hotel Newbie
We came to visit the Smithsonian museums and other attractions. We checked in and our helper took the time to help us with the automated check in and actually bumped us up a room!! He took his time to show us a map of the city with popular locations. It was a first trip to the area for the both of us, however, the blizzard came in and poured in snow so it shut the entire city down on our day of sightseeing. No big deal because we both loved our room enough just to be holed up with each other.

Great location, great price
Nice hotel for the price. Parking was a rip off at 45.00 a day with tax.

Father of four teenagers
Great location, Good price
the hotel was very impressive from the moment you stepped into the lobby. The rooms were spotless and comfortable (although it would have been easier for my teenagers if the beds had been queen-sized). We were able to walk downtown and see all of the museums from this location. It was a wonderful vacation for my family.

There was a parking garage close by that only charged $18 a day for parking (instead of the outrageous $41 a day valet at the hotel)

great hotel and location for the $$
we visited the museums. we ended up staying one more nite. the hotel was great, the location was fantastic . 2 complaints 1.on both mornings housekeeping knocked on the door before 10 am. the one morning was before 9 and it woke us up. 2. We did express check in and went up to the room - used the key and walked into a room where people were. They had also checked in. we had to go back downstairs with all of our stuff and 6 year old and get a key for another room.

Wonderful Stay
We stayed at the Hyatt for a mini-vacation. I would have liked to see more information in the room regarding pool and fitness hours. Otherwise the stay was excellent. I would love to repeat my stay at the Hyatt.

Hotel stay
Unfortunately, we were stuck in the hotel due to an incredible snow storm. However, the staff tried to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The location was such that there was not much we could do but stay in the hotel. It was a good thing that there was a fitness facility available and food...although the menu was quite limited. If the weather had not been bad, the location would have been great!!!! I would recommend this hotel for other trips.
