Capitol Hill hotel with futuristic lobby atrium, amenities for business
The Hyatt Regency Washington's atrium impresses with its high, cascading ceilings and dark wood. The lobby gives an almost futuristic atmosphere to the hotel. Guests can use express check-in computer terminals to skip the reservation line. Unwind with friends or colleagues at Article One Lounge with its community tables and 13 flat-screen televisions. Guests escape from D.C. politics at the heated indoor lap pool covered by skylights and surrounded by greenery.

family getaway
everything is great, except that it take them a hour to bring in a roll-in bed, although they told me it took 15-20 minutes

Great Location...Parking Cost Surprise
The locations was great, the room clean and comfortable but received a surprise when went to check out and there was a charge of over $40.00 for one night parking in the hotel parking garage. This was in addition to what was already given to the person who parked our car!

Room spacious and very comfortable, bathroom spacious as well. Friendly staff, really nice bar in the lobby. Very close to the Capitol and other attractions, very short walk from Union Station.

Beautiful hotel in great location
Luxurious hotel right near Capitol Hill. It's great location is less than a 5 minute short walk to Union Station, the hub of transportation and tours around DC. The staff are attentive and responsive, and the food at the restaurants is excellent. The best feature is the comfortable pillow top bed which made falling asleep so easy.

Great experience!!
Loved everything! Ordered room service and it can get quite pricey. However, the staff made sure I knew the gratuity was included. Which I loved! The steak was the best I have ever eaten!! Great hotel. Would definitely go back!!

Old and run down
Beds very hard. Carpet in hall didn't look like it had been replaced, cleaned, or vacuumed since it was put in. Had a low frequency noise every several minutes that literally vibrated the floor. Would not stay there again.

Great hotel
We went to Washington D.C. on a family vacation. This hotel was in a great location, very clean and well decorated rooms, and helpful and nice staff. We would definitely stay again!

Great Location! Wonderful staff. Expensive extras.
Just a block from the mall and near the Capitol, this large hotel offers superior services for the traveler on the go. The bar is spacious and couches comfortable. Concierge service excellent...in fact every staff member was superior, friendly and helpful. Comfortable rooms. Here are the negatives.....wifi is not free and is costly at $10.99 per day...ridiculous! I don't recommend the breakfast, also overpriced for what you get....instead, try the little deli just to the south of the hotel. Excellent value if you get a deal, as we did.

Parking at the hotel is $45 a night for guests. If you are visiting family or friends on the hill, ask them to get you a parking pass for street parking in their neighborhood, saves a bundle as you won't need to drive around dc anyway.
