Capitol Hill hotel with futuristic lobby atrium, amenities for business
The Hyatt Regency Washington's atrium impresses with its high, cascading ceilings and dark wood. The lobby gives an almost futuristic atmosphere to the hotel. Guests can use express check-in computer terminals to skip the reservation line. Unwind with friends or colleagues at Article One Lounge with its community tables and 13 flat-screen televisions. Guests escape from D.C. politics at the heated indoor lap pool covered by skylights and surrounded by greenery.

Beautiful hotel in great location
Luxurious hotel right near Capitol Hill. It's great location is less than a 5 minute short walk to Union Station, the hub of transportation and tours around DC. The staff are attentive and responsive, and the food at the restaurants is excellent. The best feature is the comfortable pillow top bed which made falling asleep so easy.

Great experience!!
Loved everything! Ordered room service and it can get quite pricey. However, the staff made sure I knew the gratuity was included. Which I loved! The steak was the best I have ever eaten!! Great hotel. Would definitely go back!!

Z Cool One
Great for Business or Pleasure
We were there on business. The staff was superb, accommodating and caring. Food was delicious, especially after a day of meetings. We work long hours, so it's nice to be able to finally relax in a quiet, spacious, clean room with great food and good help nearby. For sightseeing, this hotel is ideally located. We took a 5 minute walk to the Capitol Building. Everything else is within minutes by car. Thanks, Hyatt, for making our stay predictably enjoyable and comfortable.

Great hotel
The hotel was fantastic. The staff was very nice, the hotel was beautiful and very close to all the monuments and museums. Very good for tourists. I would definitely stay at this hotel or any Hyatt any day.

Sightseeing Weekend
Great location, we even could come back the Hotel for a little rest in between all the wonderful Sightseeing. Very close to the Capitol and The Mall. As walking at my age is getting is difficult it was important to be right in the middle of all.. Good Parking. Easy to get there. Very rich breakfast. Interpreter German English available at the Hotel. We had a Great Weekend .

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway
Great place to stay. The location puts you in walking distance to a lot of activities, and if the location is further out, you can walk to Union Station and use the Metro System.

Patriotic weekend
Our stay was over Memorial Day weelend. Hotel location was convenient to the capitol and the monuments. The staff were great. Our stay was excellent. The breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of choices. We would stay there again.

long weekend getaway
We really loved this place! Well equipped, quiet and especially clean. Breakfast (free) and dinner here were exceptionally good. Was close enough to walk to just about everything worth seeing. All of the staff couldn't have been nicer and they even had an in house convenience store that was well stocked with better than usual choices. The valet parking was priced the same as in NYC but actually appreciated this option having arrived at just before midnight rather than walk 2 blocks at that hour through unfamiliar territory. Was a bit underwhelmed by the pillows though.
