24 Hour Stay in DC
My only complaint was they had scrubbed the carpet in our room and a musty smell hit you when you opened the door. I appreciate the clean carpet but if the room has a musty odor, please do not send guests in there. Other than that, it was a great stay.

It was only OK
We stayed at this hotel on our visit to Washington DC to check out all the sites. It wasn't as close to the attractions as I had hoped. But the Taxi's were always readily available so that helped. The parking is very very cramped. Difficult to get into and out of garage. The elevators were small and often smelled like they had just taken out the trash. I got two room swith kings beds. One room was big and spacious, the other was tiny. NOt sure why the discrepancy. The breakfast buffet was very good. The pool was on the roof but very small and only limited seating. Overall not terrible but I wouldn't stay there again.

Vacation in DC
The room was fantastic! Much better than I had expected. Service was slow in the dining room but the food was good. Rooftop pool was open the first day of our stay, but then was closed due to mechanical problems. Would stay here again!

One of the double decker tour bus companies stops right outside the hotel. Great cheap way to see the sites and get around town!

clean room and friendly staff.
The room was nice. The only thing missing was a refrigerator. Apparently you need to ask for one and then get charged extra. The elevators are small and very slow. Overall comfortable.

If you are doing the trolley tour, it picks you up in front of the hotel. Wish someone had told me that. My 2 kids and I walked about 3 blocks to pick up a trolley

Family Vacation
Hotel was dirty, pool closed early 2 nights and was closed on another. Rooftop view from internet was not really how it was. Worst hotel I have stayed at. Not what I expected from a Holiday Inn.

Mall was further away than it looks. May want to take a cab, only 10 dollars from hotel, well worth the money.

The staff were very knowledgable and very friendly when we had a question and always smiled.Only issue I had was I seen a mouse in there hotel restaurant and then one appeared in my room.

ENJOYABLE STAY
CONVENIENT LOCATION TO LOCAL RESTAURANTS,COFFEE,AND GROCERY STORES, BUT THE WALK TO METRO IS ABIT LONG WITH CHILDREN AND ELDERLY. KIDS LOVED THE ROOF TOP POOL. ONLY TRUE NEGATIVE WAS PAYING TO PARK.
