Great but hot water not good
Great location within short walking distance to mall and metro station. Room was good. Beds were pretty awesome. One big problems was the hot water was only about lukewarm. Don't know if it's regular problem or just a one time things. Even with that I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent
There's a McDonald's just down the block if you want some less expensive food. The subway stop is right around the corner, making getting around town very easy. You can't beat the location for getting to the museums along the Mall. The staff were nice, and the room was clean.

VERY GOOD LOCATION FOR WALKING TO MUSEUM
Long waits for elevators. Parking expensive ($30 per night on their property) Not enough hot water. TV kept changing its own channel, maybe TV remotes were crossing from room to room.

Not home but quite acceptable
The location was excellent. The price was acceptable. You need to be aware that parking is available with easy access to they hotel lobby but it costs an additional $30/day. We found that it was worth the extra for the location of the hotel.

Long walk from hotel
This hotel is with in walking distance of all of the National Monuments. Some are a pretty good hike away, but it is better than trying to find a parking spot near the Mall.

Very nice for the price!
Service was very good. Restaurants were very satisfactory. Location is outstanding, however, proxmity to Union Station make this a bit on the noisy side.

Great Location
Only a block from the Mall--Went with 6 yr old during July. The quick walk back to the hotel for a refreshing swim made the trip nice--and bearable with temps in the high 90s. Food options were good at the hotel--didn't feel the need to go elsewhere for dinner options. Took taxis when we didn't feel like walking--taxis always at the entrance--very convenient hotel. Very clean. Had a great time. The hotel was not luxurious by any means, but suited us just fine.

Not Applicable
If planning a White House tour, you must contact your Member of Congress early. We lucked out and got tickets through our Senator only 2 weeks prior to going--very unusual on such short basis.
