Great for Business Travel

Centrally located in DC. More suited for business travel during the week than leisure on the weekend. Front desk staff wasn't too inspired.

comfy and clean...beware of construction!

Great location!! Except for the construction and jackhammering at 7am on the dot. We asked to be moved for the rest of our trip and they helped us do so..thanks to Bridget. Beware of a VERY busy breakfast situation, there was always plenty of food, just a lot of people. Beds were super comfy rooms were clean, a little small for a family of 4. All in all I suggest this hotel as long as your on the quiet side of the hotel or get up before 7;)

Friendly Staff. Very Nice rooms

The hotel is in a nice spot near China town and the rooms are nice. The lobby is small and nothing special. Staff is friendly and attentive. Workout are could use some strength machines. All they have are some dumb bells.

Last Minute Rode Trip

I decided last minute to take my 2 year old to the MLK Memorial and Zoo. We arrived a little earlier than the offical check out and they allowed us to check in as rooms were available. This was great after being on the road for 4 hours. The free breakfast was perfect for our needs. We even had time to use the pool and whirlpool which was great after a day of travel and walking. Valet was a plus and the staff was very friendly, knowledgable and nice. I will definately stay here again.

Great Trip to Washington DC For Hockey Game

My husband and I took a trip to DC to see hockey game at the Verizon Center. This hotel is literally right down the street and within walking distance, so you can save money on cab. The staff was great and amenities were good too. Free Wifi, nice gym, indoor pool with spa, room service. Museums close by and plenty of places to eat. The only thing with DC area is there seem to always been police or fire engine sirens going off, but I guess it could be just the area. Other than that it was a good trip.

Enjoyed out stay

We had a great time in DC and part of that positive experience was the Hampton Inn located right in the heart of the action. We could walk to the museums and the monuments on the mall without too much trouble. We were right near some great restaurants and we didn't have to use our car for 3 days. The hotel is comfortable. The free breakfast was awesome and let us save a little on meals. However, parking was super expensive and seemed like a terrible value. The room price was fair for a basic room and bathroom, but the cost of parking was very disappointing. Overall, it was a nice trip.
