Upscale hotel for business or pleasure in the heart of DC
Located in DC's hip Penn quarter, the Grand Hyatt Washington is an elegant option for both business and leisure travelers. Five excellent restaurants and bars offer guests a host of dining options. A full-service fitness center and sauna, pool and steam rooms are onsite, and massage therapy and personal trainers are available. There is also a game room and dance floor in the Grand Slam Café, as well as two gift shops, a florist, on-site laundry, dry cleaning and a valet service. Grand Hyatt Washington is within walking distance of the Smithsonian Institution (including the National Museum of Natural History) and Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. Great place to stay
The entire hotel is going through renovations and they are doing a great job so far. We were able to get a new room, and the hotel as a whole was very clean and all the employees did everything to make your stay enjoyable.

Very convenient
We will happily recommend the Washington Grand Hyatt to our friends, for its convenient location, comfort, amenities, and service. The wide variety of local and international events going on in the hotel during our stay are also evidence of its professionalism. We just wished there had been more dining alternatives inside the premises.

City Segway Tours is an absolute must! Perfect way to see most of the major sites, w/o all the walking. There is a Sports Bar/restaurant in the hotel. We tried to get into the The ESPNZone a few blocks away at about 9:30 pm on a Sunday night and we were told it would be a 3 Hr wait!

Organized and efficient
The Grand Hyatt location allowed for easy pick up for tours of the city. The Breakfast buffet was pleasant. Hotel staff were personable and helpful. Valet parking ran well.

Great place
Grand Hyatt was very well located for New Yorkers who take Chinatown Bus to visit Washington D.C. because it was just 4 blocks away from the Chinatown in D.C. where the buses have their last stop. The room and the bathroom are large and clean. The big window that opens gives sunshine and fresh air. The indoor patio of the hotel is pleseant. Evrything is just perfect.

Great hotel
Our stay at the Grand Hyatt Washington was fanatstic. It was in the perfect location within walking distance to all the major attractions and a central train station below the hotel. We didn't have to walk even one block to get to the local Starbucks as they have one inside the hotel. The rooms very spacious and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable.
