Grand Hyatt Washington

Very clean, comfortable and ideal location. Very friendly staff. Our room was away from the elevators, so we couldnt hear it. But obviously had to walk some distance everytime. Paid Internet at a hotel in the 21st century? Next to the metro train stop.

This is an older hotel that has been nicely renovated and has a great location. The front desk staff are not helpful or service oriented but the bell staff and housekeeping are okay. Housekeeping will bang on the door at 9:00 a.m., even on weekends, so put the do not disturb sign out if you want to sleep late and use ear plugs because they will be banging on all the doors. The plumbing periodically whines loudly and sounds like a whale call. Avoid the overpriced restaurant there are many great restaurants nearby. The price is reasonable for what you receive and the location makes it worthwhile.

We were able to take the Metro from Reagan National airport directly to the hotel. The lobby and dining areas are gorgeous. The room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable.

I had a wonderful time. All the staff were professional and courteous. Requests were responded to in a timely fashion.

this hotel was perfect do to location. was down in d.c. to visit son and nephew and the h street location was convenient. was very happy with the first class customer service and friendliness.

This was an exceptional last minute surprise. We needed a room when visiting our daughter at school in D.C. We booked on a Saturday afternoon for that Saturday night stay. It cost only $79. It was a very good Hyatt property. The staff was attentive and helpful. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was comfortable but not outstanding. The location was great and within three blocks of Chinatown, near entertainment, and great restaurants on many corners which we took advantage of. Walk to attractions and convention center. The only drawback was that the noise could be heard from the room next door through the adjoining suite doors. Valet parking was full. The public parking across the street costs $12 but without in/out priviledges (which I needed). I parked on the street overnight two blocks away with no problem. Overall, a pleasant surprise and an excellent value.

This was a last minute road trip. We chose this hotel because it was the cheapest. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. From the greeter at the door to the bellboy and housekeeping staff, everyone was great. The food at the restaurant downstairs was good-I recommend the buffet. We did have a car, but did not need it-everything is within a 20 minute walking distance (most even closer). If walking is not for you, the subway system can be accessed from the lobby and is very user friendly. There was so much to see and do-we tried to fit it all in during our 1 day stay. I recommend at least 2-3 days to do everything at your leisure.

Very nice hotel. Excellent price. Beautiful room. Very clean and comfortable. Restaurant had excellent food but was a bit pricey. I guess the room price made up for the food price.

World Class hotel located within walking distance of everything DC. (The Capitol is about 1.5 miles away, but very walkable). Pictures on the Hotel web site don't do it justice. Much nicer than it looks in the pictures. 15 minutes from Reagan Airport to Metro Center subway station, which is accessible to the hotel lobby without going outside, for $2.

The location, amenities and the room were great. But the some of the hotel staffs are not friendly.
