Awesome!
We booked this trip on a whim and it turned out to be the most fun trip we have taken as a family! This hotel was amazing! The metro is right down from the lobby, there are great places to eat within the hotel and all around and it is located in the perfect spot! The hotel staff was super friendly, gave us suggestions on places to go and things to do. We used the valet parking and they were also super friendly! All in all, we will never stay anywhere but here when visiting the DC area.

Great hotel for a vacation with kids
Overall, a great value. My family really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay there again. The direct access to the Metro subway system was a huge positive. This hotel is close to most of the major tourist attractions in D.C.

No Beds!
This was a trip for my husbands birthday. So I sent him and a friend for a 5 day stay to the Grand Hyatt in D.C. What a joke. When trying to check in the room was not ready until 7p.m. and then they were given a room kinda like a conference room with no beds! I am not kidding either. My husband called so upset. So we contacted the hotel manager and they sent up a pull out couch and a roll away. So you can see they did not get much sleep the week they were there. The manager did try to make things right by giving a free breakfast everyday. I personally think they could have done more than a free breakfast. My husband did comment on how beautiful the lobby was and great location for sight seeing. So if you go make sure you have beds in your room before checking in and dont settle for breakfast if they dont!

Ab Lincoln experiance
This hotel is super close to the Ford Theater, get there early so you can get your timed ticket the new museum below the theater is really good, and the Peterson House is worth the wait in line. Make sure to check out the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the building is where Lincoln's 2nd inaugural ball was held. Everything else is walking distance but make sure to bring the walking shoes!

"Very nice for the price"
The hotel was very nice, but the lobby pool was being drained and it looked like it needed some updating. The room was very nice and up to date however.

Washington DC
My sister and I stayed here. It was the perfect place for two women. The Hyatt has its own haulway that leads directly to the Metro. The hotel was wonderful and the location is within walking distance to the White House, Fords Theater and the house where Lincoln died. Everything else was accessable by the Metro. We flew in to Reagan National Airport and road the Metro straingt to the Hyatt. I recommend it to all.

Excellent Vacation
I had an excellent time while staying at the Hyatt. The hotel is in a wonderful location but the only downfall is trying to find parking if you decide to drive. Overall this hotel is a wonderful place for a family vacation.

Comfortable beds, nice and clean
Very clean, comfortable and ideal location. Very friendly staff. Our room was away from the elevators, so we couldnt hear it. But obviously had to walk some distance everytime. Paid Internet at a hotel in the 21st century? Next to the metro train stop.
