Good location, large rooms, clean. The rooms themselves are becoming a bit dated. Needs some work on sound proofing - the room doors slam shut of you don't hold them and I was woken multiple times Sunday night with people around me slamming their doors. Also, the price seems to have gone up quite a bit in the last year to close to $300. That makes the value proposition less attractive than alternatives in Georgetown.

Good location, no fuss accommodation
Good location in the heart of Georgetown, near the canal and harbor and a short walk (10 min) to the GWU Metro station (Redline). The hotels (there are 2 buildings) are for people who want a nice room but don't need all the facilities found in a larger hotel (conference rooms, restaurants etc). This is a great place to stay if all you really want is a room and a bed for the night. Studios have a kitchen which is good if you don't want to eat out every night. Breakfast is continental, but don't bother unless you are in a real rush as there are dozens of great eating establishments nearby. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Pleasant experience
Great location off of M street in Georgetown. Small lobby but very nice staff. rooms clean and well appointed. Gret price for a hotel in Georgetown.

Much better than I expected
The Georgetown Suites was clean and in a great location (Georgetown). Seemed to be more for business travel but was great as a leisure traveler. The room was very modern, well kept and huge windows. I had two TV?s, a sitting area, and a full kitchen. Great restaurants in the area and the Circulator was a 1/2 block away which takes you right into DuPont Circle or Union Station.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
The C and O canal is just behind the hotel and the National Park Service gives rides up and down the canal three times daily. The barge is pulled by mules. It was very interesting and worth a look!
