Great Hotel
The Embassy Suites Convention Center was a great location for our visit to Washington, D.C. It was close enough to some attractions to walk, and also close to a Metro stop. The rooms were large and comfortable. The daily complimentary breakfast was always replenished quickly, and although the evening cocktail our was crowded, the lines moved quickly, and the staff was very accomodating. I would definitly recommend this hotel.

Best All Around
The Embassy Suites - Convention Center was wonderful. The staff was gracious, courteous and knowledgeable about the DC area where to go, what to do, locations, directions, etc. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety. Evening happy hour lacked mojitos, but nothing is perfect. The metro was 2 blocks away. Great shopping, site-seeing and dining minutes away. Everyone in our party had a great time and look forward to coming back again.

Very Friendly
This is a newer hotel with a casual, upbeat decor. There was a seperate room with the two beeds. In the living room area, a new flat screen TV, and a table with chairs, and a couch that folds out to a bed. Plenty of room. Between the living area and the bedroom, is the microwave, sink, coffee area, plenty of room and counter space. The hotel was a couple of blocks from the metro station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff helped us select a local tour trolley ride that was a good way to see the Washington DC monuments at night. The trolley stop was only a couple of blocks away too, near the new Spy Museum and the Ford Theater. We ended up trying to grab a bite to eat in the lounge quite late (10:30 pm) as we didn't have time to eat before the trolley ride. We did have to go seek out someone to wait on us. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great. There is a chef who makes omelets with the ingredients that you request. In addition there is the usual breakfast buffet items. The staff was also helpful in providing information on local dining options. There were four of us on the trip, two adults and two teens.

very family friendly
The rooms were very clean and roomy. The breakfasts were awesome. They had made to order omelettes, fresh fruit, muffins, sausage, bagels, etc. The location was great. We also enjoyed the evening receptions. They offered mixed drinks, soft drinks, wine, and beer, along with some salty snacks. overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Great Amenities
We enjoyed the free continential breakfast and evening cocktail hour. The room was very large, clean, well-designed and the staff was curteous. However, it was the breakfast and cocktail hour that was a very welcomed surprise, of which we were not expecting.

Long walk from hotel
Great location if you want to stay in downtown D.C. Many of the historical sites - as well as dining - are within a long walk or a short cab ride.
