Great place to stay in DC
I stayed for New Year's Eve and enjoyed my trip immensely. The hotel was in a perfect location and the room was not that big but it was comfortable and very nice. The staff was very helpful, recommending a great restaurant as well as being available to accept an overnight delivery that I needed.

Great Location - King Room Sorta Small
Hotel has a great location! Service was fine, king room was well appointed and very clean, although on the smallish side. Also stayed in a two double room that was much larger with a nicer view. Super value for the money - walk to everything!

Five Guys Hamburgers!!! Several locations within an easy walk. For a couple, order two burgers and split a large order of fries (and I do mean it's a LARGE order - you won't believe your eyes) and Oh, did I mention how tasty they are??? ..all for about $13 and makes a great lunch or dinner!

Great stay!
Staff was very friendly! Told me where to eat every night, got me taxis, and gave directions. My room was very nice, although sometimes seemed to be a little cold. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

Great valye
Nice room. Good location about 4 blocks NE of White House. Also along several 'Circulator' bus routes aimed at tourists, though walking distances not bad to Mall. Only complaint: The worlds SLOWEST elevators!

Home Away From Home
The Hamilton was a very pleasant place to lodge during my 7 day stay in DC. This was my first trip to DC. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially in the resturant. This was my first Thanksgiving spent away from my family and they made me feel very welcomed. The food was excellent! The sfaff was accomodating with tour information, the rooms very nice and comfortable. It would be my hotel of choice upon returning to DC.

DC
Not the type of hotel I was expecting, but didn't look into too much info either. Internet was available for a fee. Plugs for electronics were too few. But a very nice and very close to The White House. Great location to walk around DC from.

Excellent location/small room
The lobby is a beautiful reminder of beaux arts elegance. The staff is courteous and pleasant. The location is outstanding. The downside is the size of the room & the bathroom. Both are very small. It is alright for an overnight, but I wouldn't recommend anything longer.

Great location - adequate in all other
Perfect location to move around downtown. The hotel itself is fairly average (although it is an historic building so that greatly adds to the charm.) The Bar is great and the service is nice. I was on the 11th floor and elevator was out repeatedly - great exercise, I suppose. I also had a UPS package that arrived for me but I was never notified. I left DC never having known there was a delivery for me. Yikes. Points off for that with the business traveller crowd... For the price, I felt like I could have done a little better - but again, it's a perfect location.

Really good
This is a great hotel. The service was good and the staff was prompt and responsive. We did not have a dryer in the room, when we called the reception, they responded quickly and we had one delivered to our room within 5 minutes. Hotel is on K street so we were close to the clubs which was very convenient for us. It does get a bit noisy in the night, we did not mind, but if you are looking for some quiet time in the night, make sure to ask for rooms on higher floors. A lot of homeless people in McPherson park, gets a bit creepy. I enjoyed the service. I will stay here again.
