Right Priced

Club Quarters rooms are always small, but I'm really looking for a clean place to camp out while I'm seeing the town or conducting my business. The space that is there is maximized for efficiency, clean, comfortable and situated right in the heart of where I want to be. I will use their services again and again because I get just what I need at a great price. The restaurant Cafe Soliel is awesome....next time I'm in DC I'll stop by again just to dine there....

Club Quarters in Washington, DC- a handy hotel

We had a great experience at Club Quarters in Washington, DC. The staff was very friendly and helpful, being as we did not know our way around the city. Very convenient location. I walked to the White House before breakfast to take photos... We were able to smoke in our room, which is a plus for us. The bistro in the hotel.....not our cup of tea, though. If you're used to home cooking, stay away. It's that fancy food , there's not enough, and it is artistically presented. (We all know what that means). There is a McDonalds two blocks up. A taxi is NEVER hard to find. They sit right outside the hotel door. NEVER get in the black cabs, though, their prices are inflated. Coffee pots in the rooms with all you need for two or three pots. Can't beat it for location and price.

Good Deal

Great location, very clean and nice staff. The weekend price for the room was WONDERFUL! There is a business center in the hotel with free internet but only two computers BUT don't let that deter you from coming! A 24 hour FedEx is only a block away.

Club Quarters

If you are looking to visit the monuments of Washington DC and want to do it without a car, Club Quarters is your hotel. The room itself is pretty small, but it's nice and has everything you would expect a hotel room to have. It might be tight quarters for more than two people. However, I'm not sure if all rooms are this size. Approximately 2.5 blocks from the White House, you are within walking distance of the following: Washington Monument Lincoln Memorial Vietnam Memorial Korean War Memorial World War II Memorial National Archives Smithsonian Museums The Capitol is a little bit further as far as walking goes, but it is within reach. There are several restaurants in the area and shopping as well. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent. There are TWO Metro stations nearby. One is practically attached to the hotel. The other is right across the street. With the Metro at your fingertips, you can access nearly any site in DC. We went out to the Nationals baseball stadium and to Alexandria, Virginia with ease. The subway system in DC is very easy to learn, and fairly inexpensive. We highly recommend this hotel if you are going to DC for business or sight seeing.

Time-saving tip: Not Applicable

Time Savers: If you fly into National airport in DC the hotel is less than a 15 minute ride on the subway, and the subway station is right at National airport. It is much easier than flying into Dulles Airport for this location. Dupont Circle is not far from this Hotel, about a 20 minute walk.

Great Metro Access

Club Quarters in Washington DC provides wonderful access to the Metro. You merely walk out the front door and you are only a few feet from the entrance to Farrugut West station. Farrugut North is a little over a block away. It is very easy to catch a cab from that area as well. Hotel check in and out is extremely easy. The hotel staff are very helpful and pleasant. We would definitely stay there again. The rooms were small but very comfortable and the price was reasonable for DC at that time of year. It is an easy walk to the White House and Executive Office Building from the hotel.

Several interesting cafes with bars are within two blocks of the hotel. There is also a restaurant in the hotel. Several fast food places are within 2-3 blocks of the hotel. There is a nice park across the street from the hotel too.

Great view of the park

Location for white house and other sites is very good and still away from the mad rush. Rooms are small but comfortable, restaurant is good but maybe a little expensive, parking is about 1&1/2 blocks away. Desk personell were very helpfull about all the city sites. I will say the only way to see all and enjoy is to take the metro or better yet the tour buses. If we visit again and also some of our friends will use this hotel!

Great location at great value

The Club Quarters Washington has a great location close at 18&K street, near Farragut Square. The two metro stops within 2 blocks makes public transportation a breeze. Also, 4 blocks in any direction leads to more shopping or food choices than anyone needs. The room is pretty simple, double bed, desk, TV but all served their purpose fine. For european travelers, the hotel will have a familar feel.

4 blocks in any direction provides too many opportunities for one person and with 2 metro stops within a block, only a short walk can take you anywhere.
