centrally located and comfortable

The Club Quarters was very comfortable. Amenities in the room were more than sufficient and the bed was comfortable. The dining room was small as was the menu, but the food was excellent.

Great location at great value

The Club Quarters Washington has a great location close at 18&K street, near Farragut Square. The two metro stops within 2 blocks makes public transportation a breeze. Also, 4 blocks in any direction leads to more shopping or food choices than anyone needs. The room is pretty simple, double bed, desk, TV but all served their purpose fine. For european travelers, the hotel will have a familar feel.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

4 blocks in any direction provides too many opportunities for one person and with 2 metro stops within a block, only a short walk can take you anywhere.

Very competent staff

I only spent a few hours in the hotel, therefore my comments are only relevant to staff. I found the staff, both morning and evening, to be very courteous and effecient. Instructions relative to check in and parking were clear and helpful. For example, though parking was almost two blocks away, directions to the parking garage were given with clear reference points/markers.

Comfortable and Cozy

Amenities at the Club Quarters Hotel are complete and up to date. The in-room free wireless worked very well and fast compared to other hotels I've used. Closet space was limited but adequate for one man. Drawer space was minimal. Room was small to the point where two people with luggage would have been cramped. Bed was comfortable. Location near White House next to Farragut Park is conveniently located next to Metro station. All in all staying was a pleasantly quircky experience.

Small but comfortable

My room felt more like a closet, but it was well arranged and used its limitted space well. The parking, over 2 blocks away was somewhat inconvenient. The breakfast was adequest but limitted. Overall it was ok, but I'll probably stay elsewhere on my next trip to DC.

My review of Club Quarters Washington

Overall things were good. The place was clean and the front desk was polite. It would be an over statement to say they were friendly but they were not rude. A few minor things issues, it was difficult to get an ice bucket and hold onto it. Since the ice is on the lower level you really need one. NOTE: They had plastic buckets, nothing fancy that someone might want to take. Also, they lack a Concierge. As recommended by the guide book in the room, I called down to ask for dining suggestions and was referred back to the guide book. One other thing the pillows are way too soft. I rolled up my batch towel and used it for additional support.

Good Business Stay

This Hotel is great for the Business person. Weekends nothing close except starbucks and subway to eat at a reasonaby price. Close to subway (one under hotel is closed on weekends). 2 blocks from White House. Parking is bad. Parking Garage is two block away and $15.00 a day. Staff was great, room nice but small.

Excellent value

The Club Quarters is an excellent value for downtown Washington, DC. The flat panel TV on the wall was a nice touch. Small room, but very comfortable, no wasted space (no tables and chairs but adequate desk space and desk chair). They offered a free bottled water dispenser (w/bottles) which was an excellent idea. Great location to museums and the Mall area. Breakfast available and although pricey ($17.00/person) for basically a continental breakfast, it is a viable option. For the $$$, an excellent value overall.

Great place...fabulous location

The hotel is one block from the White House. We were able to walk to the Washington Monument, Smithsonian and lots of other sites. The location was fabulous! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was fabulous. We stayed there with our two daughters (ages 6 & 9) and they loved it too!
