The Beacon Hotel and Corporate Quarters is an urban hotel located near Dupont Circle and the Metro. The on-site rooftop Beacon Sky Bar offers panoramic view of the city and attracts both locals and guests. Rich colors throughout the hotel evoke a modern vibe. Although my visit was brief, it was comfortable. Just one-two blocks from there, you have various places to eat and mingle. This hotel is definately oriented toward the business executive in mind b/c it is nestled in the business district. Staff was warm and friendly. Would visit again.

Great french resteraunt called Cafe News in Georgtown that was affordable for drinks, breakfast, and even early dinner. However, you will need to take a taxi.

Beautiful Decor
The Beacon was a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We traveled to this hotel to attend a wedding from New Jersey. The staff was very accomedating and the rooms very spaciuos. When we return to Washington, DC I will be sure to stay at The Beacon again.

very well located, friendly staff, good either for business or leisure
Convenient to metro stations, shops, main streets, restaurants, spacious rooms, kitchen, hair drier, iron, friendly staff, check in and check out was fast. They do not have a pool but I believe they offer access to a fitness center nearby. Everything you need. Internet for a fee.

horrible hotel
the beacon hotel and corporate quarters were so bad that we checked out after 1 night, although we were planning to stay for 3. our first room was so noisy that we had to change rooms. the second room was so small we couldnt move in it. there wasnt even room to open up the sleep sofa. the climate control was horrendous and the stenches from the hallway unbearable. i hate complaining, so i will stop here but obviously i dont recommend this hotel.

beacon hotel
the staff was very rude,the rooms were dirty, no water preasure in the shower. Will never stay there again or remcomend this hotel to others.

very nice and clean, i had a great time
The Beacon Hotel and Corportate Quarters was a great hotel. My fiance and I enjoyed every minute. The location is great and its proximity to the metro is also a plus. We had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Valet v.s do it yourself
The Beacon was very comfortable. I had a late check in. They only staff one person at the desk. It took almost an hour to check in due to issues with the other guest. They offered to valet park. But the car was parked where I parked to check in. In the morning they asked can the valet charge be put on your card. I said yes. Got the reciept. $40 for overnight parking. Not only that... I parked it. Yes it was still in the same spot. If the clerk would have informed me of that outrageous charge I would have parked a block to my left or directly across the street. Or on the street til 9:30am.

Great staff
The Beacon Hotel was very nice. The staff was extremely nice. No complaints, except that the room could have looked a little better than what i paid for. It wasn't gross but there were little things that should have been taken care of. But overall an excellent stay, right in the middle of the city. Close to lots of different dining.

Parking Nightmare
The Beacon Hotel had comfortable accomodations. The bathroom was rather small in comparison to other hotels we have stayed in recently. Parking around the hotel was difficult and the parking there was very expensive. It is a fair location if you are walking to see Washington.
