Perfect Location
Hotel is located close to M street and close to all restaurants, lounges, bars. When my friend and I arrived at the hotel, checked-in to our room, the AC was not working and it was sweltering hot in the room, called front desk, they sent someone to fix it up, unfortunately he couldn't so front desk gave us the option of either using fans or changing to another room, so we changed to another room because it was HOT in DC! The staff were wonderful in addressing the issue and providing options and overall the staff was great! I would stay there again, can't beat the price, location and hotel!

My most deradful vacation experience
I previously wrote to you regarding the disgraceful treatment from the hotel staff.I have tried to cancel payment for these services because i was forced to stay in another hotel and still no one has responded to me and i am being charged for the total incompetence of the hotel staff.I will report to the Better business bureau if i do not receive a response to this contact. OK after they fixed AC problems
We were upgraded because the room we had reserved was not available Staff were friendly AC in the room was broken but room was equipped with 2 window units; however, the AC flaps had been taped with duct tape, which had come off so the units were not sealed. I reported it and they promptly fixed the problem There was a huge wet spot by the bed; probably came from broken AC Staff were friendly and attentive Location was excellent Free breakfast though very basic

Just want parking at my hotel
The good and the bad.
The location is very good; lots of places around it to eat or shop. My problem was the parking situation. YOu had to park at one hotel (Ritz Carlton) and walk back to the Western. AND I got a $50 ticket from DC police because I parked in front of the hotel for less than 10 minutes!

This was a nice hotel with close access to my business on K street. Grillfish restaurant was closed which was a disappointment but it should reopen soon.

Thai Kingdom @1st and K street. This restaurant has really good Thai food. The service is excellent and it takes about 5 minutes to walk there.

Good hotel, be on time for breakfast
Located convenient between several subway lines. Rooms are spacious and amenties good. Breakfast room is too small, which makes it over crowed and we had to ate our breakfast in our own room the forst day.

Nothing special
location to shopping in Georgetown was good staff had to be coaxed into being friendly info for hotel should have included parking was offsite counter space in bathroom very limited a/c unit sounded like jet plane taking off as it recycled tv remote did not work, called front desk, was told one would be sent up in a few minutes, never received it too tired to followup...

I expected Georgetown to be pricey but not ordinary. There was nothing special about the selection, you pay for the location. Dean an Deluca market is a most, sample foods you never heard of, extra friendly staff, an education in food, very pricey though

Nice hotel good value. Only criticism is that there were a number of stairs to climb (at least a dozen) and no one to help with luggage.
