Unusual to have a line to check in at 11:30 at night, but the clerk was friendly and helpful, and got everyone through in a reasonable time. He was still on duty when we left at 5:00 to catch a plane, and he recognized us., and was quite pleasant.

excellent in an extraordinary situation
This motel lost all electric power due to the onec-in-two-hundred years storm of 10/29-10/30/11. The reaction of the staff was near-heroic, particularily in light of the rude, crude and near-panic behavior of some of the guests. Kudos to La Quinta Hartford Airport staff, management and owners!

A good place to stay for parents weekend
La Quinta Inn near Hartford-Bradley Airport is a good place to stay while my wife and I attended a parents weekend at Mt. Holyoke College. The staff was friendly and helpful enough. Even though he was tired, but he was willing to response to our needs. The hotel and our non-smoke bed room were clean. We had a good rest. Breakfast was not so hot, but it was good enough. Could use stronger coffee!

Catching early plane
Found room to be comfortable, adequate table space for computer work, good stocking of bath accessories. Breakfast was adequate with cereals, waffle, boiled eggs, drinks, pastries, and bananas. Staff was helpful with area directions and courtesy shuttle to and from airport.

Great for business stay
I was pleased with the cleanliness of the room (which is the first thing I look for in a review); quick check-in; great breakfast on the run; and the AC worked well & was quiet!

Low price hotel near Bradley airport
In Hartford on business and took a very early flight out of Bradley. Hotel was close to the airport, got the wake up call right, and had a reliable shuttle to the airport. Not outstanding, but OK for a short night. If I need to go back again, I'd try one of the other hotels on this road.

Looked at both the diner next door and the Japanese place across the street before ending up down the street at the Doubletree for dinner (where service was unbelievably slow).

Need a room because I made a mistake.
The staff was friendly and even let me check in a little earlier than as I was supposed to, but the only reason this experience wasn't "that's good stuff" is because I asked for a non smoking room and got a room that smelled just like cigarette smoke, which really made my stay unpleasant.
