Candlewood Suites WINDSOR LOCKS BRADLEY ARPT

This hotel experience was good. When we first arrived on 5/28/11, our reservation was mixed up. [...] The rooms were great, clean and spacious. wonderful Hotel. I will gladly return to this location on my next business or personal trip.

This was not a "vacation" for me. I needed a convenient clean place, near the airport while I was staying in West Hartford, and this fit the bill nicely

Selected for a 2-day stay for business, I was positively surprised by a spacious, well equipped, quite new and tasteful interior. Spot clean and all you can expect from a suite including equipment. Snacks, beverages, microwave and other food etc. was purchasable in the hotel at very reasonable prices. Housekeeping is once a week but you can always request via the reception what you might need/want. Anytime again!

Very friendly staff. Room had extras I wasn't expecting like DVD player, large screen TV, kitchenette with stove, fridge,microwave, and dishwasher. Bathroom was clean and free from the cosmetic defects I've come to expect at other places. The indoor pool and exercise room were a nice touch although I didn't have time to use them. I will definitely stay here again if I ever return to the area.

Upon arrival after a long hard trip I was greeted warmly and made to feel more than welcome. The front desk was friendly and very helpful in checking me in. I would gladly stay again at any Candlewood suites location ! The room was clean and very relaxing.

Stay was really short but pleasant. Nice rooms. Good Value. Very convenient airport access for early flights.

Although my stay was an over-night business stay, this place had all the comforts of home. The room itself was clean and spacious and not the typical hotel room. My favorite, though, was the Cupboard. No vending machines for a bag of chips when hunger strikes; a quick trip to the cupboard for a light snack, a bowl of cereal, or even a pot of pasta! What a great idea! The staff was friendly and helpful, as well.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights while taking our 2 year-old son to six flags. Given the price of the hotel, I was extremely happy with our choice to stay there. There was a Friendly's nearby, plus a bunch of other restaurants, which was nice. The backroads drive to Six Flags was easy and took about 20 minutes. The staff at the hotel were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is pretty basic, but a large free laundry room adjacent to the fitness center is a great feature (so bring your laundry detergent with you). The bed was more comfortable than most. The pillows were lumpy, but that is much better than flat or hard, as far as I am concerned. The DVD player in the room was great for our son, and the front desk has a ton of good DVDs to loan out. As far as negative comments, I only have a few - we needed nailclippers and they didn't have any at the desk or the gift shop. - there was no balcony, and the layout of the king studio suite didn't leave much room for my son's pack & play, so we had to go to bed when he did. With all that said, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
