You Get What You Pay For!
For the price I paid, it did not include maid service. I had to clean my own sheets and towels and remove my garbage.

Other that the toilet constantly running in an adjacent room, the overall experience was good. After a call to the desk and an hour wait, the problem was resolved.

Other than a Denny's in a joining parking lot, there were several nice restraunts within a few minutes of the hotel.

Pretty darn good for the money.
Much nicer than I had imagined. Didn't know that they had renovated until my return. It really was a great deal. Upon checking in, desk person found a mistake on my reservation and quickly got me a better price! A little debris (leaves/sticks) in front of the window but other than that a perfect place to crash for a super price.

the tolerable
we arrived late, we went to connecticut to visit a friend for the night, we stayed at the Motel 6 in southington,ct when we got there my check in was rudely interrupted by a drunk that want a bigger ice bucket we were directed to our room with wrong directions that had us going up and down stairs with bags, a porta crib, and a 2 yr old. the room felt like sleeping in a closet there was no shampoo or conditioner and no iron. while staying there my 2 yr old found a condom wrapper near the bed. so not what you want to find with a little kid. need to clean their rooms better.

if your looking for a place on short notice thats not alot of money then i would recommend here but if not spend a little more time planning out your trip. read reviews will be well worth it in the end

I enjoyed my stay at Motel 6, Southington, Conn. The staff was very Friendly and helpful. The Location was perfect, with alot of needs within walking distance.

Motel 6 Story
We enjoyed our stay at this Motel 6 which has a picturesque old school feel. On an early morning stroll, I enjoyed views of the dogwood in blossom juxtaposed with the Shell station sign. I was surprised and pleased to find a beautiful Luna Moth resting on a quiet back balcony of the complex. The Motel is conveniently located to Lake Compounce Park and area restaurants. Dennys is a short walk away and has yummy pancakes! The hotel desk clerk was helpful and friendly. My only suggestion ... Put an outdoor pool with a slide in that giant parking lot!!

At Lake Compounce, ride the front seat of Boulderdash unless you don't mind the rougher and even faster experience in the back! And just because it's older, don't expect the Wildcat Coaster to be tame. They're both a lot of fun!!

The rooms were clean, and the front desk was nice. Our only issues were that the electrical plugs in the room were touchy and at times didn't work, and that the cleaning staff made a habit of coming around way too early in the morning and almost refusing to leave until a later time so we could get some rest.

Fine for the price
The motel is located right off the highway and is easy to find; unfortunately that meant you could hear the highway noise all night, but with the heater/fan on, it was much less noticeable. The room was very clean, and other than traffic, the motel was very quiet. We were able to have our two little poodles in the room with us in separate crates; the bed was comfortable, again, very clean. We checked in late (10pm) and left by 9:30am, but I thought it was very good for the $51 price.

Excellent Value.
