This hotel had everything we wanted and for an excellent price, as well. It was very clean, safe and located near several ... restaurants. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and offered hot items as well as cold. The pillows and linens were of top quality but the very best feature of all were the comfortable beds which after a long trip were like heaven.

The hotel was very nice it was convenient to where we needed to be. I was disappointed because we asked for 2 double beds and ... rooms next to each other, because we were with family we don't see all the time it would have been better. We got 1 bed with rooms on the same floor but down the hall from one another. Because of the one bed not all could stay in the hotel that we had hoped! The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Hotel was the best you can get for the price. Room was clean and had nice effiency kitchen area. Stayed one night with ... girlfriend. Was going fishing 15 minutes from hotel. Nothing much to do in the area. There is a sports complex with mini-golf, ice skating, batting cage, etc. That is all we really found in the area. Also leave extra time for CT traffic. Cars were almost at a dead stop on a Sat. afternoon. Over all - this hotel was a great experience .

Great overnight stay

We stopped overnight at this hotel at the midway point of a long drive. We had originally told the staff that we would be ... arriving late, but then we realized we'd be early for check-in. We called about 1/2 hour before arriving at the hotel and explained how tired we were. They got a room ready for us and made our check in fast and efficient. The staff was incredibly helpful throughout the stay. The room was spacious and a great bargain for the price.

We booked this hotel becouse of the location. We were attending a wedding in the area, and wanted something close to both the ... church and banquet hall. We were very happy with everything.The price was great and the staff were really friendy. Next time we travel, I will definetely stay at a Holliday inn Express

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Trumbull-Shelton for the second time and would stay there again. The living suite is ... nice and the beds are super-comfy. The free Internet and buffet breakfast included make this hotel also very attractive.

I have stayed at many hotels recently, and I was extremely impressed by the size of the room, 2 double beds and a double pull ... out couch, plus table and desk work area, with refrigerator sink and micro. My daughter is getting married next year in the area and this is where I will have all the out of towners stay.
