Horrible Experience
We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Shelton CT. We had a bag of toileries stolen from our room. The $40 worth of stuff wasn't the big deal. The way I was treated regaring the missing items was. Horrible customer service. I would NEVER return and have nothing nice to say about the staff there!

Decent stay
Everything was satisfactory, not too much to complain about. The house cleaning came in uninvited twice during my 5 day stay.

Eh, it's a hotel
Hotel was alright. Staff for the most part seemed friendly with a few exceptions (night manager seemed half asleep). The halls smelled a bit, and there were some glasses left out in front of some rooms for over a day. Also noticed the walls are extremely thin. Heard the TV playing and people mumbling in the next room pretty easily. Then they had their 'awesome' breakfast buffet for $11.99 that was basically the same continental breakfast you get everywhere else for free with the addition of an omelet bar you could order from, not worth the price when there's some great diners around. If you just need somewhere to sleep, it's probably fine, but if you want something good, I'd look elsewhere.

Disapointing
We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, and have enjoyed our stays, not so much this time! The bathroom was not very clean, i.e. mold and generally not up to snuff! The matress and pillows were very uncomfortable. As in the past, other guests can be quite noisy on the weekends i.e. children and adults being loud in the hallways later into the night. I do not think we will be going back in the future.

great place!!
It was very nice and I was overall very satisfied with the whole trip. The staff was very friendly and helped me with everything I needed. I would definitely return there on my trip. They have an outback steakhouse across the street which was very convienent. We went to captains cove in bridgeport which was a fifteen minute drive. It was gorgeous. Within five minutes there was also a sports center that had ice skating, minigolf, a golf range, fun bowling, and lazar tag.
