Beautifully renovated, historic Norwalk Inn with sparkling outdoor pool
The historic, family run Norwalk Inn and Conference Center is a beautifully renovated oasis, 15 minutes from Stamford and under an hour from Manhattan. Verdant grounds offer outdoor patio dining, a sparkling pool, fitness center with sauna and steambath. Golf, tennis and beaches are nearby, endless shopping ranges from malls to outlets and boutique stores, and the vibrant SoNo Seaport is downtown. Weekdays kick off with breakfast, lunch or dinner in the elegant, granite-floored Adam's Rib Restaurant. - Once through our doors our guests will find 4,000+ square feet of celebration space in rooms capable of accommodating anywhere from 10 to 275 guests. Parties are complimented by magnificent ballroom dance floors with Rosso marble set out in a 'starburst' pattern, and around this distinctive centerpiece guests will find a custom-built brass chandelier, Florentine rugs, Empire-style lighting fixtures, Verona wall paneling, and raised-pattern wallpapering. None of these elements date back farther than our latest renovation, two years ago. The Norwalk Inn can readily support business conferences for up to 475 with free in-house audio & visual equipment that might include film projectors, high-definition televisions, long-distance phone connections, tape recorders, and microphones. VIP local transportation can be arranged for all group events.

- At Adam's Rib guests can find Veneziano granite floors, maple wood wainscoting, crowning woodwork, torchlight ornamentation, cherrywood furniture, and a beautiful mural export painting that represents the Long Island Sound. All of this can be found within a Metro layout suitable to casual and formal meals alike. Diners can select from everyday menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, and wines. Private parties can access those everyday menus along with custom menus for brunch, hors d'oeuvres, deli, and pizza.

- Our cocktail lounge features cherrywood flooring, Brazilian granite table tops, maple wall paneling, antique art prints, polished birch furniture, and Venetian plaster walls. Very disappointed
We were very diappointed in the room. The rooms smelled very bad, mildew and old. I would not go back to the hotel again. The pictures of it on the computer were very deceiving.

Very nice. Very clean. Very comfortsble. We thought we were getting the free breakfast deal [...], and found out upon arrival that this offer is only valid on weekdays, and we had to spend $10. per person for a continental breakfast! Kind of left a sour taste if you know what I mean.

Construction Going On
Clean,staff pleasant.King size bed occupied entire small room. Got a larger room with additional $10.per nite charge. Hallways smelled of disinfectant. Included breakfast buffet was ample but always looked well picked over, with no sanitary "sneeze" protectors. Presence of major construction on site should have been acknowledged ahead of booking. Everything considered no bargain for the money.

Norwalk Inn for Business Traveler
The Norwalk Inn is a nice, comfortable hotel with very helpful and attentive staff. The rooms were in very good condition, ancillary services were nice (free cookies), computer support was strong, and the free breakfast had a nice variety of options.

Wonderful, inexpensive local hotel
THe Norwalk Inn is a great hotel for local staying. Basically a modified motel, they have created a very pleasant environment in an easily accessible area. There is a nice pool outside and a bar and restaurant (that serves a great brunch). The desk help is terrific and for us, one key thing they have are the beds. Their king size beds are wonderfully comfortable and make for a great night's sleep. If you're looking for a terrific local place to stay in southern CT, this is it. Not the Taj Mahal but definitely easy to be there.

Quality at an affordable price
The room was clean and quiet. I enjoyed the complimentary bottle of water. The stairway from the parking lot in the back needs repair. The breakfast buffet was good.
