Affordable accommodations near one of the largest casinos in the world
Who needs Vegas with Foxwoods Resort and Casino only four miles away? The Hilltop Inn and Suites offers an affordable and comfortable stay near the largest resort and casino in the country. Take the complimentary shuttle, then hit the slots, browse the shops, try any kind of cuisine imaginable or catch an amazing show, all in one place. As if that is not enough, Mohegan Sun, equally impressive and almost as big, is just a little further down the road. Booked this hotel due to location for Foxwoods, and that they offer a free shuttle service. Good price for the location. Ammenities and decorations were average, but room was extremely clean. Had everything you would need. The staff was friendly, helpful, went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. They even gave the girls in our party roses when we checked in. Continental breakfast, free food enough said. I would definitely book again.

Birthday weekend getaway
Went down on Saturday to celebrate a friend's birthday at Foxwoods and was very pleased with the Hilltop. Not the most modern accommodations, but very comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice and attentive. The complimentary shuttle and hot breakfast were great bonuses! If you're looking to save money and aren't picky about extra bells and whistles this is your spot.

Friendly staff. Room was non smoking but could still smell cigarettes in the sheets for some reason. Good breakfast. ok for the price.

Excellent Accomodations
The staff service and amenities were exactly as described at the website. The people were friendly and the hotel/room was clean. The shuttle ran promptly to and from the casino and breakfast was fresh and delicious.

Nice Hotel
When we arrived we were greeted by very friendly staff. The room we recieved was very nice, clean and comfortable. The area was nice and we were only a few miles from Foxwood Casino where we spent most of our time. The breakfast wasn't very good. They had coffee that was nasty and not a very good choice of anything to eat. There were 3 types of bagels, fruit that was there for quite a while, cereal, yogurt and over cooked hard boiled eggs. In order to have wifi you had to pay with your credit card over your computer with an unsecure system, no go on that one it could be seen by anyone. The best thing about it was the fact that it was close to our destination.

We chose this hotel simply for the free shuttle to Foxwoods. Other than that, it's just your basic motel, nothing to ride home about. But because of its distance from Foxwoods and the shuttle, they can charge way more than they should and get away with it! Not the best hotel I've ever stayed at, but it served its purpose, a place to crash after a night of gambling!

You get what you pay for
While the price was good, our air conditioner didn't really cool the room and the beds were uncomfortable.

Went to a great India Restaurant in Mystic,CT called "Taste of India" if you want something different I recommend it.
