Nice spacious rooms

Loved the motel, not the town
New Britain is a gritty town that now has lots of poor people. This motel is not in the best part of town - not sure there is a best part. But the motel itself is safe and the room was spotless. The TV, shower, toilet, etc. worked very well and the place was quiet. The staff is great. It's easy to get to the stadium if you're there to watch the Double A Rock Cats baseball team.

Great stay - a gem and a bargain!
Pleasantly surprised! Stay there! Landscaping Needs work, but hotel is terrific.

Good Hotel for the time period!
I arrived at the hotel a day after the huge storm that went through so my review is based I guess on extreme circumstances. The hotel was crowded, even with a reservation I had to wait an hour before getting a room. I have nothing against pets but it felt like a pet hotel with all the dogs that were there. The clerk called the police, who gave out parking tickets to everyone who wasn't in a parking spot which was no fault on the people staying there. The room was nice and clean though.

Nice hotel
The rooms were large, very nice and super clean, especially the bathroom. I only have two complaints. The parking lot is not very well lit and the staff. I stood there 5 minutes at check-in while the staff discussed some issue. Not even a "we will be with you in a minute" or a "thank you for your patience". This is the second time I have stayed there because it is reasonably priced and close to my wife's relatives. My complaint the first time was the same. The staff wasn't friendly at all.

A Pleasant Surprise
We booked this hotel as an inexpensive place to crash while attending a convention in Hartford. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. The staff was friendly. check in easy and the room was very large, with two doubles, clean and well supplied with soap, shampoo, towels etc. TV was HD and the area quiet. Breakfast was more than adequate with everything you could want except cooked meats. Big plus was the beautiful park and excellent New Britain Museum of Art a few blocks away. Great buy for the price. Jay

This is the best hotel
I stayed here again for 5 days. This time got my room changed immediately as TV was not working in the first room provided. Rest all facilities were excellent. Enjoyed my stay
