Holiday Inn Express MYSTIC

We found everything to be completely satisfactory at the Holiday Inn Express. The room was clean and large. There was plenty of room for a pack & play to be set up. We enjoyed The Boathouse restaurant next door, which is in walking distance. The hotel is in a great location, close to the Aquarium, Mystic shopping village and Foxwoods!

We were there on a family trip. The location was very good and the hotel was clean as could be. Nice breakfast selection and very helpful staff.

The hotel was very quiet, which we noticed right away the first night and loved it. Room was clean, but the toilet did have a ring around the bowl and found a couple of hairs in the bathroom. I've stayed in some pretty bad places before, so the ring in the toilet and a few hairs didn't scare me away. But all together I was happy with my stay here and would stay again.

We love this hotel, the beds are wonderful, so comfortable, clean and plenty of pillows. The hotel was so close (walking distance) to 60+ great little shops and we had a lot of fun at the Mystic aquarium that was just down the street. There are lots of places to eat. I would recommend the Equinox across the street for every meal. We had [...] each time we went, she was so great, very friendly and the food was so good everyone loved everything we ate. We would not recommend the Loft, for a steak house they couldn't cook a medium steak; they all came out well done. The salad bar was very good but limited toppings.

We have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express' (we belong to the priority club)as we travel back & forth from Florida. This was not one of their finest. They ran out of breakfast food, didn't have enough chairs. There were only 2 washclothes & no hand towels in the room. I called the frontdesk,for more face & hand cloths & 2 hours later we got bath towels. Told housekeeping we needed face & handcloths, she said they would be right up. We checked out the next morning, & still no cloths. The night staff was not friendly at all, the day staff although helpful with shopping locations, not that friendly. I never received a final bill or have a nice day & thank you for staying.

The hotel was in a great location. The only thing was that the breakfast needs to have more items to choose from because my granddaughter had nothing to eat because she does not and can not get most of the things you offer. You could have pancakes or waffles or both.

We went to the very expensive aquarium and to a Graduation Party in East Lyme. Love the location of the hotel Having a dip in the pool was great (8:00 pm) No on else was in the pool. Love having coffee in the morning! Love having the fridge and ice. Hallway was HOT!

We stayed in Mystic to visit the Seaport. The hotel was in a very convenient location, minutes from the museum, the aquarium, and good restaurants. Our room was clean, smoke free, and quiet. We didn't use the pool or fitness center, although the pool looked quite nice. The only complaint was that housekeeping had overlooked removing the coffee filter from the pot following the previous guest's stay, and the grounds in the basket had become moldy. I had intended to mention this when we left, but no one was at the front desk at the time. Overall, our experience was quite good, and we would stay there again.

It was good. Close to all and convenient.
