nice, but not for the cost
The staff was nice, however i didn't receive what i asked for ie. king size bed, i was given a double instead. aside from that we were told that all the rooms were sold out, but the parking lot didn't seem to reflect that, the area was nice by day, but not much to do at night and for a holiday weekend there was no late night eating places in the immediate area.

Short drive from hotel
if your there for the water and aquarium, it's suitable, but for most or other reasons, get closer to mohegan sun, if your going to spend time there. the cost is to high based on location and convience, just my opinion

Mystic
Hotel was as expected. It's a Hylton after all. Town was not as expected. Do not be misled by references to "Olde Mistick Village," in contrast with Mystic, CT. The "Olde" place is a shopping center outside of town. The town is nice but not a whole lot different from many other towns in New England. If you can see only one old harbor village in New England, Mystic is great. If you are seeing many others, seeing it is not necessary.

Not Bad
Clean rooms but not worth the price you are going to pay. There are a ton of other locations for half the price. We needed a place close to mystic and went withthe brand name but looked a few others while we were there and they were just a nice. If you are looking fo rthe brand name then you found it, if you are looking for a getting your moneys worth this is not it.

Great Hotel
This was a great hotel. It was our first road trip with our 3 month old and I was a little nervous about taking him to a hotel. My worries were put to ease when we checked not the Hilton. The hotel was clean, modern and lovely. Check in and out was very quick. Front Desk employees were very helpful. The only thing that I was disappointed in was that there was no mini-fridge in the room for the babies milk. When I requested one, they told me that there would be a $25.00 per day charge for it. I thought that was a little steep for what most hotels include in standard rooms. Other than that we really enjoyed our time at the Hilton, Mystic!

Very nice
Very nice hotel and very comfortable. Staff very nice. Only negative was that we thought the hotel was closer to the casinos than we thought. It took a $40 cab ride to get to the Mohego Sun (spelling?). Breakfast was pretty standard hotel buffet. soso. all else good and would definitely stay again. Mystic is very nice too.

Very Nice deal for the money....
The hotel was very nice, the pool was great, and the room was spacious and clean. The hotel staff were very friendly. We stayed overnight to go to a show at Mohegan and then come back to the hotel for the night. It is about 25 minutes to the casino. The only negative I can think of was that the parking is all around the building but there are no entrance doors anywhere but in the front of the building and it's quite a walk around the building late at night for say girls or anyone alone. Otherwise everything was perfect. We ate breakfast at the Equinox diner across the street and it was reasonable and tasty.

The Steak Loft has a great salad bar ($7.50) and soup for a light dinner. The bar area was also nice with draught beer and live entertainment. The Boathouse restaurant is a smaller restaurant with a great wine selection in the bar area and great seafood and burgers.
