Warm hospitality in a great location for having fun in Mystic

quick weekend away
The only things we noticed were that we were to have a non-smoking room but as we entered it sure smelled like someone had smoked in it , the drapes would not shut completely--we pinned them shut as we were on the ground floor and it looked like others had done the same and lastly the sheets were too short for the bed--they only came up 2/3 of the bed. The bathroom was very clean and the staff were very kind.

We were there for the weekend. Since our regular hotel had no rooms we found this on Orbitz. The hotel was comfortable, the room was absolutely fine for our needs. The price was a bit high but much more affordable than some of the similar hotels in the area. Overall as good a value for the dollar as any of the chains.

The shops at Old Mystic village are a pleasant surprise. Some really great stuff. Also the Steak Loft is a good steak house if you don't want sea food.

very pleasant stay and would stay again
good location and good price. Nice breakfast bar in the lobby and the staff was pleasant.

Great Hotel
Loved this hotel because it was clean, comfortable, and enjoyable. I was surprised at the large bathroom size. Close to Foxwoods and Mohegan. They also have a complimentary breakfast, but I never went because it closed at 9am.

Foxwoods landing point
Great time. Hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Very enjoyable experience.

Clean and Quiet
Considering it was New Years Eve, it was a very nice hotel. I think they could have extended the breakfast hours to 11am considering it was New Years Day, no one went to sleep early. All in all, I would stay there again.

The hotel was absolutely perfect. It is a Best Western so don't expext a spa or anything but it is the perfect hotel to stay in when you are expecting a comfortable, safe, warm atmosphere. Right in the middle of Mystic which is beautful. The pictures do not do justice to the hotel!!!

Quick Trip Travelers
Good Service
We went for two nights to spend time at historic Mystic, the Mystic Seaport, and Mystic Aquarium. The hotel was an easy drive to all of these. The hotel was nice - and from my experience, it was above average for a Comfort Inn. There were some loose hairs on the bedding and we found out our shower was broken in the morning. They immediately moved us to another room that was in fine condition for the rest of our time.

S&P Seafood was excellent. Maybe slightly expensive but it's seafood and it's in Mystic. I can see how the wait can be long since it is a small place but we only waited 15 minutes. Recommend the fried calamari appetizer and highly recommend the bread pudding. Good friendly service. Nice view.
