Great Value for the Money
The hotel was in a great location (near the highway and restaurants) and had nice amenities. It was clean; had a fitness center; and the staff was friendly.

Both Milford and New Haven are worth visiting. Milford is much smaller but worth seeing, and it's only about a 5-minute drive from the hotel.

Almost perfect.
It was really a great value for the price. We were there for a wedding about 1/2 hour away, and we saved over $50.00 because we didn't stay at the event hotel. Lovely lobby, and one of the better breakfast areas I've seen in a hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable with nice features. The couple of small issues were (a) the funky smell that pervaded the room, of what may have been whatever cleaner the housekeepers use, (b) the paper thin walls - every time someone next door turned on the water, it sounded like they were in our bathroom, and (c) the $9.95 breakfast buffet was not entirely delicious. Next time, I'll have an omelet instead of the lump of oatmeal, dry bagel and chewy waffle I mistakenly chose. However, the hotel staff was absolutely great, cheerful and friendly, even funny, and seemed to be focused very hard on making sure all the guests were happy and taken care of.

There were a couple of restaurants in the immediate area as I recall, one of which we went to and had some pretty nice food. It's a sparser area, but we weren't going to be hanging around in it, so we were happy.

Great hotel! Amazing room service. Portions are huge and the food was really great. Prices were even reasonable.Staff was nice. Room was clean. Love two TVs in the King Jr. suite. Super comfy bed and black out curtains that really work!Front desk had cookies out for guests. Exercise room even had fresh fruit available. [...] we ended up with a smoking room when we requested NON SMOKING. That's frustrating when you have two kids and you are non-smokers and try to keep your kids away from second hand smoke.
