The MGM Grand at Foxwoods was fabulous. The rooms were beautiful and the whole Foxwoods resort was connected without ... stepping outside. This complex makes any in Las Vegas look small in comparison. There so many options for gambling , dining, and shopping that everyone would be satisfied.

The hotel overall was very nice and the staff was very friendly. Our neighbors who seemed to be college kids had a party in ... their room until about 2am with about 10 people so it was very noisy. The rooms were pretty clean except for hidden areas witch had a lot of dust buildup. Overall a pleasant stay.

As for dinning, the food is not as good. Junior's was too salty. If you had been in Capital Grill, you will probably like it better than Craftsteak. Haven't tried the others as we only stayed for 1 night.

A nice gateway
Angel Oct 16, 2009
MGM Grand at Foxwoods was very nice overall. The suite we had was pretty spacious with separate seating area. The bathroom ... was clean and nice as well. Just have to be careful that do not move the drinks or snacks from the room if you don't need them as the receiption told us they will automatically bill you for them. It is nice that they mentioned to us when we checked in. Overall experience was good. Foxwoods and MGM Grand are inter-connected by walkways, so you can visit both places.

This was one of the absolute best getaways we have taken. The room was luxurious with a beautiful view of the Connecticut ... woods. The bed was so comfortable, the whirlpool tub was a real treat, and we felt extremely pampered. We would jump an another chance at this same deal. Loved every minute.

Great Room
Timbo Oct 14, 2009
Great new room and very clean. I was disappointed that there was a $25 per day charge for the use of the fitness center due ... to MGM not owning it. Poor excuse when they have a fine and luxurious hotel. You can get a fitness room at almost any cheap hotel - free!

Norwick Golf Club 3-4 miles away. Really nice course to play at a resonable price. On premises golf beautiful but expensive.

Amazing Way for couples to reconnect
Foxwood Fan Oct 2, 2009
The hotel was amazing!!! We had such a great time and we can't wait to go again. We chose to celebrate our 10 year ... anniversery at MGM because it was close to home and we had the best time. Next time we go we'll bring our children so the whole family can enjoy Foxwoods :) The buffet was excellent and Bingo was a blast... Valet parking was free and the staff were all great. My husband lost his cell phone under the bed and the cleaning staff found it and tracked him down...this proves they clean really well and are honest people...Once you check out valet will go get your car so you can place your bags in your trunk and than re-park it for you all for free (but tips are appreciated, I'm sure)...I can't say enough, so go check it out for yourself :)
