nice room.....
must walk through the casino a ways to find the elevators. no staff at the actual entrance to the hotel. pretty rooms....great view...no free internet access.

Honeymoon in Connecticut Casino
The Foxwoods complex houses three hotels including the modern and posh MGM Grand where we stayed. There are also 7 (I think) separate casinos and a high-end mall connecting everything. We were able to visit all of the shops and casinos during our trip, and probably walked 3 miles per day doing it! But overall the MGM Grand was the nicest hotel and gaming area and had the best restaurants. If you are a foodie, this is the place to stay! Tom Colicchio's CraftSteak was divine and the staff impeccable. 100% the best dining experience my new husband and I have ever had. The hotel was very nicely laid out, focused on the gaming, and was very clean. The staff was always friendly, helpful and real. Even the employees of the high-end fashion boutiques wearing $2,000 suits were actual human beings! It was a wonderful trip with lots of great memories. About the only thing that would have made it better was if we had won big money!

Money-saving tip:
Short drive from hotel
Never rely on the hotels/casinos for midnight snacks and soda unless it's an emergency! The prices for nuts, candy bars, crackers, trail mix and soda at the hotel store were astromonical. However, that is pretty normal for boutique hotels and casinos. Keeping that in mind and stopping at a convenience store before settling in the hotel and you will have a much more relaxing trip!

Amazing stay
My boyfriend stayed at MGM Grand at foxwoods and had the most amazing hotel stay we have had anywhere. We went for one night check in was great and when they gave us an option of an upgrade in a room with an amazing view we were so excited. The room was exceptional floor to ceiling windows, amazing views and the staff was so kind. Overall we are planning our next stay there...absolutely loved it.

Nice experience altogether
We went to a Charlie Sheen show. It was very enjoyable for the most part. The casino area could be bigger, but other then that it was pleasant. The food in the food court was pretty poor though.
