The town of Manchester is a thriving small community in the growing eastern region of Hartford. This town dates back to 1670 with the inhabitants of English colonists and is rich in American history. sorry we booked

We wanted to see the room. They couldnt find our reservation. Sign for check in was 3 and website said 2. All kinds of polices about the time you pay extra. Signage outside advertised for day sleepers. OK We left and did not stay and were told we would be billed anyway. Lesson learned about hotel and website.

Solid

It's certainly not a 5 star hotel but if you need a place to crash for a night in the area, Manchester Inn is worth the trip. The rooms are a little old but still well maintained.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Both Pepes and CJ's pizzarias are nearby. Pepe's has a small sports bar attached and a wide selection of Italian food. CJ's is a simple no-frills restaurant with very good pizza and heros/grinders.

Bad experience

Worst motel I have ever been in. Check in early costs extra, shower and curtain were mold-covered, rugs were stained badly, etc etc. [...]reservation was not accepted until day 2. I checked out and immediately showered at another motel.

Terrible

Dirty disgusting hole. Rooms are unclean, premises are sloppy, I don't see how anybody with at least minimal self respect would stay there.

Great Value

A good place to stay if you are looking for a great deal! We got a smoking room but it didn't smell of smoke AT ALL! It had a nice fresh clean scent and was nicely decorated. We attended an event at the Connecticut Convention Center and this place was just a short distance away and was very easy to find. Will definetly stay there again next year!

Manchester Inn is out

We Attended a Northeast Barbershop Convention of the BArbershop HArmony Society. Admitedly, we chose to go with the lowest price option because we were adding a grandson and wanted to put money in food and other experience. But,the linens were questionable, if they were freshly washed, they need to be retired. Stained and misfitted to the bed. The Hair dryer was not functional. There were insuffucuent towels and soap the first night. The office was not always open. There was a drop box for room keys for check out so we did not get to view the final bill itemization. We are anxiously awaiting the credit card bill. Next time we will use the prescribed hotel at twice the cost.
