Extended Stay America Hartford - Manchester

The room was pretty comfortable but there was something sticky left on the counter and the one time I called the front desk with a question no one was available.

Room was dirty! Not vacuumed, trash wasn't emptied. There was hair in my bed, soap scum and hair in the shower. Hairspray and hair stuck to the vanity and the heat didn't work. Also, room came with a coffee maker but no coffee!!!! No shampoo or soap in the bathroom. Greasy fingerprints all over the doors and lamps. I couldn't even switch rooms because the whole hotel was dirty! There were carpet stains up and down the halls and the vents were coated in grime. There was also a heavy musty odor throughout the building which made it difficult the breathe. I woke up with a cold the next morning. NOT worth it. Not even for a cheap place to stay. And I told the manager the following morning and she "uh-huh-ed" me to shut me up. No discount. Nothing. Worst place I've ever stayed.

Dated rooms, hallways and you could tell the construction of the hotel was done on the cheap. I requested a non smoking room and they booked me in a smoking room.

i arrived early for my stay and the staff was very accomodating in getting me a room early. I appreciated it because it was pouring outside and i didn't know the area to go any where. The room was clean and the location is fantastic.

I arrived at the hotel early and the hotel staff was very accommodating to me. I actually liked the whole set up. just wished they offered free room service. I was only there for 2 days so i was able to go without having to wash my own towels and i bought my own cleaning supplies to clean the room. I've never stayed at a hotel where you would have to pay for room service. It was new to me. But i would still recommend this hotel. it was nice.

Little glitch upon check-in in that they didn't see that I was already charged [...] but they credited without any issue next morning. Walls are kind of thin and we had to listen to a long conversation at 5:50 in the morning but again staff said if I had called them they would have asked the other guest to be a bit more quiet. Room was fine. Clean although a bit dated. Great option for parents visiting UCONN. Only about 20 min. from school. Easy ride.

No staff available. TV did not work. A/C controls were poor.

The hotel was very clean and appears to be a new facility. It is right off the interstate and is convenient to both Hartford and the Manchester mall area.
