One night visit
Hotel is in need of a remodel. Only place in the room to watch tv was on the bed. The only chair in the room was the desk chair, and this is not comfortable for watching tv. It felt like this hotel had not had a remodel since the 1980's.

Extremely Military Friendly
Our stay was perfect in every way, from the warm, friendly smiling face that checked us in to the beautiful huge suite we stayed in for 3 days. Any question about area attractions were answered and they even accommodated my request for late check out so that my CGA Cadet could catch up on her sleep. The included breakfast was amazing as was the staff that served it and I look so forward to making this my home away from home when I come to visit my daughter for the next four years.

A Winner!!!!
My husband and I go to the Groton area to go deep sea fishing every year and this is the first year we stayed at the Groton Inn. It was perfect!! The room was comfortable with some extra amenities,and the staff was accomodating and friendly. The restaurant on the premises was fantastic!! The food was delicious and they are open from early morning which we needed to go fishing. Breakfast was free and it was the whole breakfast menu. Can't say enough about the Groton Inn. We will definitely be going back next year.

5 Guys is just down the block and the burgers are tremendous and good, so are the fries. If you want to get out for a walk, try 5 Guys.

GOOD VALUE
STAYED ONE NITE AN FROM WHAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED THE HOTEL WAS A VERY NICE VERY CLEAN AN LARGE ROOM ONLY 6 MILES FROM MYSTIC SEAPORT I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN. OH GREAT BREAKFAST THE NEXT MORNING

No Complaints very satisfied!
Honestly we have no complaints. At check in the staff greeted us and welcomed us to Groton. The woman explained all the amenities and provided us with information on 100 things to do which was extremely helpful. Dinner was great and the food was delicious. We were provided with vouchers for breakfast and we thought it was a continental breakfast when in fact it was a traditional breakfast for the duration of our stay. Upon check out once again the staff was generous and did not rush us at all even though we exceeded our stay. We were able to have breakfast and also use our laptop in the lobby. We are extremely satisfied. The room was clean and spacious and what I liked most is that the room had many amenities.
