Econo Lodge Inn & Suites

This hotel was exceptonally clean eventhough it was clearly an older property.. The bathroom was spotless as was the kitchenette..Bed linens were sparkly white!! Only problem was the desk was unable to give us enough extra pillows for everyone in our party.. I would absoutely stay at this property in the future!!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The rooms are set up for long term stay. We were only there one night but I would have been very comfortable to stay longer (mini-fridge, microwave, kitchen sink & counters with bar stools. Two nice chairs with ottomans, beds were moderately comfortable). The hotel itself is in need of updating, things are a bit old and worn. The continental breakfast did not look appealing, but because it's clean, the room was large, and it was very affordable, I definitely recommend it.

Great experience for a simple hotel. Good price for the area. Rooms were older but VERY clean and very spacious. We just got a single King but there was a living room with a fold out sofa and a fridge with a microwave and stove. Staff was helpful and friendly, and provided a recommendation for dinner at Abbott's Lobster in the Rough that was AMAZING. If (when) I am back in the area I will stay here again.

We went to watch a fight at MGM Grand @ Foxwoods and the location was only 20 minutes away.

The stay at the Econolodge Inn and Suites was okay... It was excellent that they have a 2pm check in... The room was comfortable, it was like a tiny one bedroom apartment/kithenette... The heat was kind of weird though... The heating/ac unit was in the bedroom so we would be warm in the bedroom while the rest of the suite was cold...Oh yeah, the telephone jack was hanging out the wall (luckily we didn't have to use the phone). The hotel was a close drive to everything, we never had to drive more than 20 mins. I would stay here again if I had to, it wasn't horrible. Although we said when we went back we would try somehwere else.

Fine. The reservation had to be canceled after the frist night, hotel staff was pleasant to work with.

The hotel lobby smelled pretty offensive when I arrived relatively late and there was still trash on the floor near the breakfast area, but I was tired and needed a place to stay. The room was fairly clean, however the furniture looked very used - scratched and chipped, the wallpaper was peeling, TV remote didn't work, the general condition of the room was poor. The hallways had people roaming in them at all hours of the night and I think the room across the hall was conducting crack deals. I made sure my door was bolted. When I left in the morning there were beer cans and bottles and trash all over the parking lot. I would sleep in my car before staying here again.
