Best Western Olympic Inn

Upon walking into the lobby you're hit with the smell of cigarette smoke - gross. The room was a non-smoking one and didn't wreak of smoke, so that was good. The bed was comfy and the shower had great pressure. The TV and free (wired) internet worked well. The free buffet breakfast was boring and didn't provide many options or fresh fruit. I'd pass on this unless you're on a budget. There are better options nearby. If you plan on working out while there, forget it. of the 3 machines in the small room (treadmill, elliptical and bike) the latter 2 were broken. No weights were provided. So, if your expectations are low, this may work out for you. Otherwise, keep searching.

We just needed a place to stay for a couple of nights that was in Groton. This place was clean, has a pretty good free hot breakfast with your stay, the mattresses were comfortable and no weird smells.

Good weekend exploring Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, and sub base.

The location was perfect. It is close to Mystic and Ledyard where we spent alot of our time. We plan to do it again and stay in the same hotel. Very satisfied! Thankyou!

We drove from Staten Island, NY and got there about 2am, the gentleman at the counter was wide awake, very friendly. There is a dunkin donuts on one side a Hess gas station with a en.ack shop, across the street there is a 24 hour restuarant great food, staff wss friend food was out fairly fast. the hotel was in a great location to Mystic CT.10 minute drive away. fairly priced hotel.

Overall one of the best hotel experiences I have had to date! Exceptional hospitality at this location. Can't wait to return! Each and everyone was most courteous and friendly from the owners to the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping and even the maintenance man who was fixing something in the pool and went out of his way to bring me extra towels.

The front desk went above and beyond to satisfy us. One girl printed out map quest for us in a matter of minutes. She was so helpful in giving us directions. The men when we checked in were very nice and accommodating. The women on the phone with me was fantastic. The woman in the lounge was so friendly. We noticed there were regulars there. Very friendly atmosphere. We are very impressed with the van service and the complimentary breakfast. We will be there again and will take others with us. A gentleman and a woman, when I called the 800 number for Best Western recommended your hotel. We have stayed at Norwich hotels before but we really liked the Groton area because there was so much to do nearby. Thank you for your great treatment to us.

With work I have had the pleasure of staying here many times. This place always makes you feel like you're at home. Starting with the check in and going thru check out. Restaurant food very good, exceptional service! Love this place and would recommend it to anyone. Great staff and family owned makes all the diffrence. Keep up the awesome work.

Ugh!!! Bed was extremely uncomfortable, pillows were probably used for years, bathtub was not clean, the shampo container seems like it was used over and over again... I would never go back there!
