Excellent and not-so-much
For location, amenities and value, the Homewood Suites in Glastonbury is great. But the last time we stayed there (4.5 days), our room was partially cleaned one of the days and not cleaned at all on another. Front desk staff responded quickly and effectively when informed, but still...

great for the money
Great room. Full size refrigerator, microwave, sink, two burner stove and dishwasher. Had king size room. It was immaculate! They had a free breakfast with a different menu every day which is posted in the room and a light supper at night (mon-Thurs). Beautiful lobby which is where they served the food. Sat by the pool which is smaller than it looks on the website. Goes from 3 ft-5 ft., but was clean and good enough for our needs. Great for families with the free breakfast! Highly recommend this hotel.

Good Hotels with in Walkable distance. Can take advantage of the restaurant in the next building i.e Hilton Hotel. Great restaurant.

Nice Stay but Paid above average
I have no complains, just the sofa bed that my 12 yrs old slept on was very uncomfortable and closet sliding glass door keep falling from its track.Wifi has great speed and the breakfast was also not bad at all.Price was for us expensive and for a Christmas weekend where nearly all rooms were empty, we should not have paid what we paid. Due to snow we were about to extend our stay for another night and the lobby staff offered us much lower rate. I was surprised that [...]where we purchased our tickets told us that our rate was the discounted rate.Best price for this hotel in the area I would suggest is no more than $90 plus tax.

Great Price for a Great Room
This hotel was very nice. Each room had a little kitchen, two rooms, a nice comfy bed, clean bathroom, and a great overall feeling. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again!

Large rooms
This is the second time I've stayed in this hotel. Both times we've had trouble with the rooms initially assigned to us. [...]The housekeeper never replaced the "free" coffee for the coffee maker. On the first day the duvet cover had several cigarette burns in it (in a non-smoking room). On day two they had noticed and removed the spread, but never replaced it. For the next two nights we had a down quilt with no cover. I would stay in the hotel again because overall it is nice and it is the closest to my family. The rooms are also VERY big.

The hotel is quiet and across the street from several great restaurants. A Barnes and Noble is within 2 blocks as well. There is also a great needlework store - Thistle Needleworks and a good knitting shop within a couple of miles.

A suite experience
My wife and I stayed there on our relocation house hunting trip. This was convenient because the Realtor we were working with is right in town. After being moved out of our first room minutes after getting in because the refrigerator had an issue, we had absolutely no more negative experiences with the hotel. The staff went out of their way to be friendly; the rooms were exceptionally quiet; and they offered services we wanted to take them up on (light dinner Monday -Thursday) but thought it better to get a sense of the area with it being our future home.

There are many great restaurants in Glastonbury. The Mustard Seed has fantastic stuffed french toast and J. Gilberts had some of the best scallops my wife ever tasted.
