best place I ever stayed
The rooms were beautifully decorated , very clean, beds were great...wanted to stay in the bed all day...would have taken it home if I could ....decor restful and classy. I would stay again and recommend it to my friends and family. we ordered room service it was prompt, food was warm and tasty. Definitely a relaxing stay.

Wrong town but great hotel
The only downside to our experience is that the the hotel is not in Fairfield it is in Shelton. Everything else at this hotel was so much more than we expected. I would recomend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent value for the accomidations.

Good, if Shelton is where you want to be
This was a nice if sort of anonymous hotel. Everything was new, clean, etc. Staff was excellent. Room was large with kitchenette, fridge, big TV, couch, etc. Complementary breakfast was good. On a road with plenty of chain restaurants, etc. so a simple lunch/dinner was no problem. The confirmation said it was in Fairfield, but it is in Shelton, not Fairfield. It was billed as being close to New Haven, but was 25 - 30 minutes away...perfectly acceptable since everything in New Haven was booked.

Better Than Most 4 or 5 Star Hotels!
This review is long delayed but I had such an amazing experience that I saved the review email to make sure I would get to it one day! Hyatt has since bought the Hotel Sierra chain because they would have given the Hyatt Place hotels a run for their money - seriously. If you ever have a chance to stay here, please do - you won't regret it!
