Hampton-Orbitz Relationship Needs Work
I called ahead of time with a special request for a quiet room location at the end of a hall due to needing to sleep days (working nights for first time in about 20 years). Upon arrival, the staff said that due to using Orbitz, the only room they could give me is a handicap room near the lobby; that location could not be changed due to Orbitz terms. I showed them my copy of the reservation that didn't specify a handicap room. After repeated requests, staff promised to move me in a couple of days; which became four. The new room was located near the ice machine; another obvious message that my business wasn't needed in the future.

Friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. Price was perfect. Breakfasts were fabulous. Enough choices for all individual palates. And the breakfast area was inviting. Rooms were spacious. Very comfortable beds. Would definitely use this Hampton Inn again when visiting family. Danbury Hampton Inn is located on a road with many stores and restaurants, but it's set back enough for privacy and relief from any traffic noise. Our only disappontment during our stay was the less than sound proof walls. One moring we could hear conversation in the next room without even trying.

perfect place for my one night stay!
After driving all day---this was a great hotel at which to land. Check-in was friendly and easy. The room was clean, up-to-date with the design well thought out which made it very comfortable. Fitness room was good---good equipment and enough of it. Needs a little cosmetic lift. I really enjoyed staying there--and will be back when I have to make the drive again. The other reviews encouraged me to choose this hotel and they were right!

Filled the Bill
I stayed one night. The room was a good size and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and responsive. The breakfast was ok, but only ok. There was a fairly large choice, but nothing special. Summing up: it was a good value for the price.

Danbury stay
Awesome stay
I was really impressed with the hotel and staff. My check-in was efficient and friendly. The hotel was very clean and the room inviting. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderfull place to spend 9 nights
The staff was the greatest. The breakfast's were a real treat. The pool and spa hit the spot.

Just fine
