Really No Nickname
1 night stay for business
The hotel definitely needs to improve the insulation of the walls between rooms. You can easily hear your neighbors conversations and/or the TV. I was very surprised to hear more noise coming the from the neighbors, rather than the outside Route 1 and I-95. Lastly, for the continental breakfast - that was the worst orange juice I have ever had. Sure, the machine that dispenses it was not properly set up, but I took one sip of the "pure sugar" drink and that was enough for me to give this place a three star.

Holiday Inn Express BRANFORD-NEW HAVEN
I've stayed at this hotel a few times. It is very clean, the staff is nice, free coffee and tea are available all day, and they have a nice little breakfast in the morning. There is also a pool and hot tub which I don't use, but my family does. Also you get free wifi.

Suited our needs perfectly
Used this hotel to visit Yale. Although it was 8 miles away, it was easy to travel to. Its' location provided a secure feeling. The indoor pool and exercise room were nice, and it had one of the nicest breakfasts I have seen. Towels were fluffy and linens lovely. Room in excellant condition, A/C/heater quiet and effective. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only negative was that the walls seemed a little "thin". It was generally quiet though, and I carry earplugs anyway. A great value.

Excellent Accommodations for the price
Great price for a quiet, clean hotel room. The description doesn't tell you that it does have a pool, spa, and a small gym. I asked for an early check-in (12 noon) because I was flying in on a redeye flight and the staff was very accommodating. The only weird thing was that the curtains don't close to give you a dark room. They only go 1/4 way closed on each side. Annoying if you want a dark room to sleep in or some privacy if you're on the bottom floor in the back of the hotel. I would recommend the hotel for the price and location.

Good location for a quick visit.
Room was clean but hotel was booked for a wedding and was very noisy one night.

Pleasant overnight stay
In the area for a wedding. Chose hotel simply by location and price. Turned out to be a very pleasant surprise - clean, good service, great value for area.

Very nice
The hotel was nice, clean and quiet and the room was a good size. We stayed for a nearby wedding and basically used the room to relax and sleep. Overall the room was above average and better than I expected. The clerks were friendly and very helpful. The location was close to shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and scenic drives. We enjoyed it, thanks.
